Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very nice restaurant with good food and service at a good price.
We stayed at the H10 playa hotel and although all inclusive, after a couple of nights we couldn’t stomach the food as it was so basic.
So glad we found this restaurant with amazing Thai food. Everything tasted very fresh and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly.
Would definitely recommend and it’s also down a nice pleasant side street rather than the touristy sea front.

We arrived without a booking on a busy Friday evening. A waitress who spoke excellent English invited us to sit by the bar whilst she prepared a table for us.
We were served drinks & ordered our starters at the bar area, the starters arrived & we were taken to our table. We had Spring Rolls & a crunchy chicken starter, both beautifully presented & very good. For our main courses we shared a Prawn Pad Thai, Massaman Curry & another chicken dish with egg fried rice.
The food was all delicious and very generous portions and the two waiting staff & chef we had contact were all very attentive & friendly.
We will definitely be returning, we had been missing a good Thai restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz town centre.

Another lovely meal in this very pleasant restaurant. First class food, cooked to your liking, not too hot and spicy in our case but if that's how you prefer it, no problem. Well presented plates and lovely friendly staff.
We shared Thai spring rolls to begin, followed by Pad Thai, Chicken with Cashew nuts and Jasmine Rice, then little filo parcels filled with apple and a ball of ice cream. All washed down with Singha beer.
Delicious and well worth a visit.

Came here for dinner the last week of October with my partner and our 12 year old. It seems very popular and I suggest you book (we arrived at just before 8pm and the restaurant was full, so we were told that they would save a table for us for 9pm – which they did). The restaurant itself is well laid out and clean, with beautiful décor. Service is excellent and food delicious (my favourite food is Thai and this certainly did not disappoint). To start we had fish cakes, tempura king prawns and ribs, then for mains we had a yellow chicken curry, beef with stir-fry vegetables, king prawn pad thai and steamed rice. Every dish was cooked to perfection!

Having lived/worked in Thailand for 19 years, I tend to be very fussy about Thai restaurants, most of which seem to modify their recipes to cater for western tastes. So, it was quite a pleasure to finally check out Ristta Thai Food in the upper half of Calle Iriarte in Puerto de la Cruz. Surprisingly authentic, although I did say to the waitress that I wanted the Chicken Green Curry "Thai style"! I shall be going there again!

Ate here twice. The waitresses are lovely (in every sense of the word) and very welcoming. The first time here the Kao Phad (spicy fried rice) I had was overcooked and not spicy enough for me.
Booked for a second time and, unfortunately, whilst a little more spicy, the rice dish (I forget the name of it) was again overcooked.
Both meals with a glass of an acceptable house white wine.
As Thai food is my favourite cuisine, I was, overall, slightly disappointed.

This new restaurant provides us some verity in terms of food types on offer in the area. It has a modern Thai themed décor which is cosy and welcoming. The menu is quite varied without being too extensive, the food is tasty and the quality of the ingredients is good. The service is excellent and overall, it’s good value for money. I’ll be back!!!

This restaurant is so easy to review. The food is absolutely stunning with so much flavour
The staff are first rate and happy to help with anything you need
I had the Thai Green Curry with Beef and Jasmine wife and my wife had Panang with beef. Both meals were the best Thai food we have tried outside of Thailand
You won't just stumble across this place you will have to look for it and if you like Thai food and are in the area make the effort as you won't be disappointed. The restaurant is quite small so book ahead
We are intending on going back before we head home at the end of the week

Puerto de la Cruz offers a variety of different cuisines, so we were pleased to have a change from tapas, and sample some Thai food. The restaurant is quite small and quite cosy, with a few Thai touches.
The menu lists a lot of the usual Thai favourites, with a fair amount of vegetarian versions. We started with som tam, that wonderful papaya salad. It was very refreshing, containing a lot more cucumber than normal and a little less spicy than we’re used to, but still very good. We then had a tofu based panang curry, and a pad pak vegetable dish, both delicious. We couldn’t resist the mango sticky rice dessert. The mango was surprisingly tasty, and the dish was a delight!
With rice, and drinking Singha beer we paid €56 incl. a tip, which is good value for quite authentic Thai food and charming, polite service from very sweet Thai staff. Worth a visit!

This was a welcome surprise, as the Thai food here was clearly authentic Thai, and not "westernized" for tourists. Since first visiting Thailand over 15 years ago I've craved Pad Kra Pao (ground chicken mixed with Thai chiles, Thai basil, rice, and a little fish sauce). It's very difficult to find it in anything other than authentic Thai restaurants, but the version here is squarely on point. Also, they serve this fried chicken appetizer that is one of the top 10 dishes I've had at any of the restaurants in Puerto. If you're craving fried chicken in Puerto, this dish should hit the spot for you. We've been here plenty of times, and fully intend to return soon.

Good thai food in Puerto de la cruz. We had the pad thai and chicken with cashew nuts, especially the pad thai dish was very good. Friendly staff and good service.

We are vegan and we just found vegan thai heaven here. This restaurant is AMAZING!
They have a lot of choices for vegans and also easly change food on the menu to be suitable for vegans. They even have a vegan dessert, which is absolutely DELICIOUS!
The staff is super friendly, the food is fresh and served hot.
We recommend 10/10 to go there and will definitely visit again!

What a great restaurant, we ate here twice and we’re very impressed on both occasions. All dishes were great which included thai green and massoman curries, pad pac beef salad and fruit and tapioca dessert. The atmosphere was pleasant and staff very friendly.

The food is absolutely fabulous, well balanced and extremely tasty. As I expect from Thai cuisine. Decor is delightful, particularly liked the display of orchids. The staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. It was great to find a little slice of the land of smiles, in the Canary Isles.
It might be advisable to book or come early at weekends. I was a walk-in just after opening on a Friday evening. No trouble getting a table then, however within 20 minutes the restaurant was full and people were either having to wait for a table or were disappointed.
