Went twice during 4 night visit to Puerto de la Cruz. Absolutley outstanding food!! Fantastic service, the man even remembered our drink order when we went back in. We split the chicken poori and chicken tikka butter masala with chips and rice and wow. Both totally stuffed and the curry was out standing. Second visit got the same again and added a korma to share. Was too much and ended up getting a doggy bag. Was a great breakfast the following day so fed us twice. If we are ever back in Tenerife we will be back for dinner. Thank you all so much. Live from bonnie Scotland x

We decided to have an indian meal on christmas eve and having eaten in this restaurant before, we knew we would not be disappointed. The service is great and the food always arrives piping hot. Always a pleasant dining experience.

The food was super good and the service very polite. As a vegetarian I was pleased to see all the currys were also available with vegetables, soy meat or paneer. Medium spicy was good for us. Prices were not so cheap compared to some local restaurants, but definetly worth it.

Very expensive for an Indian restaurant of low quality food.
Visited here a couple of weeks ago my other half had tikka masala I had chicken Jalfezi.
My jalfezi was uneatable, tasting burnt and the chicken was like chewing a mass of elastic bands.
Dish was sent back and I hadn’t the stomach to let them do another one so they said they will not charge for it.
That was fine but they still had the cheek to charge for the Rice at €7.00 🤦♂️
Worst Indian restaurant I’ve ever experienced while abroad.
Won’t be back

Thank you for visiting us.we are heartbroken that you didn't like our food especially chicken jalfrezi. Our chefs in kitchen are working in indian cuisine more than 25 years.we are proud to have such staff.we may accept that somebody doesn't like our food because every independent has own liking. But we never get complain about jalfrezi .If you didn't like the taste of jalfrezi we offer you to change it with another one it was kind of our apology but you refused it and the second thing you mentioned we charged for rice but there was no issue with rice that's why we charged.Sir! You may have different taste from normal people that's why you give 34 reviews as regards terrible to another restaurants also. But you have to think about that it is the matter of reputation of every restaurant you don't have right to spoile it just on the basis of your first visit.you have to give another chance rather than commenting low quality food.Have a good day.

We ate here in the first week of our trip to Tenerife. Food was good and fresh. Based on this experience we ate here again tonight. Very different. Food was bland and oily. Tandoori mixed grill was dry and I would suggest cooked some time ago and then reheated. Definitely not fresh. Rice and naan also tasted stale. I gave feedback to the waiter and heard him telling the chef what I had said. Was it a totally different chef from the previous night? No offer of a refund or reduction in the bill. Paid and left. Won’t be coming back.

We visited this place without having read reviews. It was almost full, ehich we took to be a good sign. However, we were disappointed. Onion bhaji was overcooked, chewy and tasteless. Lamb jalfrezi was tough, the sauce was like runny gravy with little curry flavour. Paneer dish had no visible paneer and tasted of slightly spicy cream. Service was poor - very slow from two waiters who looked like they didn't want to be there. Restaurant also lacked atmosphere.

We found this lovely place last year and were glad that it was still around and we could dine there again a few tines during our 4 week stay 😉
I especially liked that you can ‚mix and match‘ your main course (curry + a main ingredient).
If you‘re vegetarian or vegan: they have many options which are pretty good and the owner is very forthcoming if there are questions or special wishes.
The Pappadums with the homemade dips are really good and good to share. We continued with the Samosas, the kids had Palak Paneer and loved it.
We can recommend the Sizzlers with a Curry and rice. I especially loved the Naan filled with cheese and garlic butter - it was pure bliss.
The dishes can be ordered in different grades of ‚hotness‘ and if you‘re nor sure about mild/medium/hot they offer you a homemade paste to spice up the dish as you like.
We never made it to dessert so we tried to not indulge as much to have some space left on our last evening here … we tried the Pistachio Kulfi and the Gulab Jamun and it was stunning and the kids were glad they tried it.
So I really hope we can come here again next year!

This restaurant went beyond our expectations. After 4 days we found this restaurant, just right around the corner of our hotel. We wanted something different than the usual ‘Canarian foods’. Very respectfull staff and delicious food. The staff was not as pushy as the staff we’ve seen before at other restaurants; they chatted with us whenever they came to our table but let us eat in peace. We felt calm eating here wich is important to us. The food tasted as if we were in India; perfect amount of spices in the dishes. The flavors matched very well (sweet, spicy etc.). We highly recommend this restaurant. Keep up the good work!

Visited on the last night of our holiday, ordered chicken tikka masala, lamb karahi, mushroom rice and lemon rice. All the food was delicious with generous portion sizes. Service was very friendly, waiters made sure we had everything we needed and kept our glasses topped up.

Went for dinner with the wife for dinner after reading the reviews. As a foodie I was really looking forward to it. Order veg pakora got chicken pakora if you could call half a buterflyed chicken breast overcooked and dry. Very disappointed. Then I ordered lamb Rogan Josh which I had to wait 45min for. When the waiter turned up with the food I got chicken Rogan Josh said to the waiter that I ordered lamb he said ooo wait the now went away came back said sorry and walked away leaving me with something I didn't want. Got 5 small pieces of chicken that was like rubber and the sauce wasn't a Rogan Josh sauce but just a normal sauce. The wife got chicken chasney and rice she said she enjoyed it.which was a plus on a very poor dining experience for myself. Got two coke's to drink 2.50 for a very small bottle. Definitely wasn't worth the 43.50euros I paid wouldn't recommend it waiter that couldn't seem to care less. The younger gentleman was very nice and had great customer service skills but the older gentleman should just pack his job in if he doesn't want to be there his attitude isn't good for business coming from someone who has worked in the industry for years.

First time I’ve visited Tenerife and the Indian here. It’s better than home! The service was quick and the food was brilliant.
I had a chicken tikka korma. The tikka had taste unlike others I’ve tried back at home (U.K.) and the korma sauce was beautiful. The place itself is a nice layout and everything looks clean and decorated. Dark and light-ish blue table cloths and candles on every table.
The bill arrives in a lovely wooden box which is a nice touch. If you’ve got a night free I’d definitely come here for an Indian.

Decided to try the Indian Crown Tandoori restaurant as it was rated No. 1 restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz and we'd never tried it before.
Well the food was OK, but honestly nothing out of the ordinary. The place seemed a bit tired and lacking atmosphere.
Unfortunately we also had problems with the candles on the heated dishes constantly going out even though the waiter kept changing them, which resulted in our food ending up a bit luke warm.
There are better indian restaurants to be found in PDLC, in my opinion.

In quiet location in town away from tourists in main resort area. The decor is a bit dated & tacky but clean. The staff are very tentative & friendly. Food choice is good for a British style curry house abroad & all usual dishes on the menu along with standard breads, starters & rices. Drinks menu has a fairly good selection . They sell cobra lager in the smaller bottles of which I had 2.
The food was okay . I had a karai chicken which was a bit lacking in chicken & a bit too spicy for the medium dish I ordered. I had a dessert as well which was a good pallet cleanser after spicy curry.
I'm in between a 3 & a 4 out of 5 for this restaurant as prices are fairly reasonable . Would dine here again.

We visited this restaurant after reading the excellent reviews on T/A. The spicy aromas on entering were a good sign of the great food to follow.
When we arrived at just after 7pm it was still quite quiet, but within 30 minutes the restaurant was full. Our drinks order was taken immediately and when this arrived our food order was taken. The waiter was on his own at this time but his management and memory was amazing!
We had popadoms and riata to start, followed by garlic chilli chicken and king prawn jalfrezi accompanied by pilau rice and 2 chapattis. The food was very well spiced with the perfect chilli heat. We finished everything. My only negative was I didn't like the fat, ghee I think, on the chapattis. Also it would be nice to have a hot flannel at the end of the meal to clean your hands.
Coming from Bradford, the curry capital of the UK I was delighted with the food and would highly recommend this lovely little restaurant.

Went there 2 times because it was so great! The Owner is very friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and so delicious! You can pretty much create your own curry with a variety of ingredients. Would definitely recommend it! If we come back to Tenerife we will go there again for sure!
