Two visits one great one terrible!! We enjoyed tapas one evening in the terrace / just the two of us. Next day - lunch with family and baby. We waited an hour for some of the tapas we ordered to arrive with those that had...very quickly. Staff seemed indifferent even when addressed in Spanish. In the end we got up and left!!!More

I had a paella ,but was very disappointed. my wife had a stake and it was very good. service good , friendy.
Having spent a week at the other end of the Island and then been delayed for over 24 hours due to the sandstorm closure of the airport, we were moved to Puerto de la Cruz in the north. First time we had been here in...36 years. On a walk round the town we were handed a menu for this place by the owner outside. We walked on, but on subsequent inspection thought the menu looked very good and decided to go back & give it a try. We are so glad we did. Tucked away it's a lovely place to sit down & enjoy a long leisurely lunch. My grilled squid starter was gorgeous as was the shellfish risotto main. My wife said the same of her Pate mexicano starter and Goat's cheese salad main. A couple of jugs of their own Sangria and a small bottle of house white washed everything down perfectly. The house tiramisu, prepared from scratch at your table in front of you was delicious as well. The menu, service and overall feel of the place was fantastic.More
Except for the tuna tartare created at the table, which was excellent, the meal on the whole was not as good as hyped up to be. The suggested wine was ok, but again did not live up to the promises. Service was ok. The tartare...saved this rating.More
Delighting dinner with great show by the servers, I would recommend to everyone! Really great tiramisu and perfect paella
Very good food, and fantastic service. The staff were so friendly and attentive, we had a fried cheese and carpaccio starter, lovely bottle of fizz, risotto and paella, and the canarian creme Catalan. More expensive than most places in town but definitely worth it on...volume of food and service. Huge portions, the 1 person paella would have been plenty for 2.More
We went here for our last night in Tenerife, and WOW what a meal! We had starters of smoked salmon salad and pate, for mains I had the sole and my husband had a steak which he cook himself to his liking at the table,...all of which were so tasty and fresh. We were sat outside beside a heater which was lovely and we weren’t rushed to leave when we finished our meal. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and I highly recommend. We would definitely returnMore

Stumbled across this restaurant on our way home and was tempted by the fresh fish cabinet I ordered salmon which was nicely served with Roquefort sauce and vegetables Very nicely presented but unfortunately the plates were cold and the food was tepid on serving Waiters...served pan bread at a extra cost without asking us and 6.5 % Tax added to total bill which we forgot to calculate in as most all menu offers have it included usually Surly young waitress and difficulty to get our bill If management can take on board these irritating issues it could be very much betterMore

Well worth stepping outside Plaza Del Charco. Ordered from the specials menu. Cream of watercress with fermented cheese and almonds was a delight followed by Chestnut tagliatelle with mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes. If this is how good vegetarian food is I'll give up meat...tomorrow.More
My wife and I came upon this place accidently, on our way somewhere else. We both love fish, so we decided to try it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great starter, main course and wine. Facilities all very clean. Reasonable prices. We couldn't fault...it, and would like to go again.More
On our way to drinks and possibility dinner we thought to stop here for a bottle of wine and some tapas. It was ok... not terrible. The purported rioja was actually a young Tempranillo with a need of significant aeration... but alright. We had the...tomato and tuna belly tapas as well as their octopus speciality. Again, not terrible... the tuna was canned and the octopus just slightly over chewy, but the flavours were there. Would have probably opted for fresh local tomatoes and freshly grilled tuna belly for the salad and perhaps crushed Canarian potatoes with the octopus rather than cold mash... but really a personal choice.More
Canny food, food paella and wife had a nice pasta. Only thing we didn't like was choice of music being played. Rap is not dinner music
I ordered the Valencia type chicken Paella which was supposed to take 20 minutes or so to cook. It came with a lot of rice but the chicken was a bit dry as it had been reheated. It was also a bit bland. The service...was good and their table white wine also.More
