Situated just behind the main central church, a favourite with locals, you may have to wait for a table. Hot and cold meals available, we like the freshly made beef burgers. Also have a wide range of cakes, tarts and cookies. Coffee €1,60, cake €3,25. Worth waiting for a table.

Lovely little vegetarian place, l<3ved the croquettas!

Right in the center of Puerto de la Cruz, it was a cute little restaurant where we (as a couple) could escape into good food, drinks and genuine conversation. The staff was super friendly and through the QR-code on the table; we could decide on what we'd be taking for dinner. Although my partner isn't vegetarian, there was plenty of options to choose from (so even the die-hard meat eaters won't leave the table on an empty stomach ;p). On the menu, we could see a range of soups, salads, veggieburgers, sandwiches, a meal of the day, fruit juices, and shakes. Yet, we decided on a couple of shared appetizers and absolutely adored the veggie croquettes! Also took some onion rings to share and ordered a burger each to top it all off. We weren't hungry when we left the table, at all! :-) When returning to Tenerife, I'd definitely return to check out the rest of the menu!

Great menu and food. Also a good price, not expensive. I had the Canarian burger and it was amazing, the wedges that come with it are a little dry. When we visited yesterday the waitress was very friendly, today (Sunday) the staff did not communicate/chat with people, it appeared that they were rushed (even though plenty of staff).

a CHEATING PLACE for englishspeaking and germanspeaking people !!

on 16.01.2020 i ate in this place with my girl friend. I ordered out of the englishspeaking card NOT the menu of the day but only the the 2 dishes menu : starter and main dish. The price is 6.70 € , same offer and price in German. We got to eat the soap and the main dish. We had to pay no more 6.70 but 9.90 € at the end! the waiter told me this offer is not written in spanish so therefore it does not exist and we have to pay 9.90 € in accordance with the spanish written card. Therefore be careful : they want to cheat all the English- and Germanspeaking people!! all these people should boycott this place !!

Poor quality food, disappointing.

As vegetarians we were excited to go here. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing. The restaurant was full and there were only two waitresses working. We had to wait a long time fort the menu, drinks, food and to pay the bill. I ordered the soy burger with chips, the chips came out first then 10 minutes later the burger arrived. The burger was raw, it was pink and soggy and tasted horrid, I complained to the chef who said" it's soy" . I've eaten many soy burgers in my time and none of them have ever been like that one. My daughter also had a burger , this one was more cooked on the outside but was still soggy in the middle. The potato wedges she had tasted very earthy and not pleasant either. We didn't have to pay for my burger but the staff didn't seem too bothered, maybe because they were busy? I wouldn't go back.

Lovely little place

I went here in the hopes of getting something a bit healthier than the usual fare I always seem to end up with when trying to select from a menu. As good as my intentions are I never manage to order a salad. The menu here - while not all are healthy options - is vegetarian with a fair few vegan and gluten free options. I settled on the Grilled cheese salad and was not disappointed. It had a little bit of lettuce, a generous serving of avocado, kiwi fruit, papaya, sweet corn, cherry tomatoes and was topped with a large serving of a white melted cheese topped with toasted nuts and breadcrumbs and a balsamic reduction. I didn’t have time to get a picture as it looked so good I had to get into it immediately! Will be back.

Overall the food was ok, but nothing to write home about. Staff left empty plates and bottles on the table, they forgotten an order of onion rings. The staff seemed more interested in social media, the place was no where near full so there´s no excuse for not being attentive. We tried to split the bill across 3 credit cards and the waitress just said no. Go somewhere else and have a great evening.

Nice place, good food and a wide choice - but let down by limited staff

My partner (a vegan) and I stumbled across El Limon as we hunted for places where she could eat in Puerto de la Cruz, and overall we were pleased with our discovery. On the whole, the food was good (both in terms of choice and execution) and the cost was extremely reasonable. Our only complaint would be the service. Don’t get me wrong, the staff we encountered were helpful, friendly and forgiving of our limited Spanish, and we’re working hard to keep up with what became a busy restaurant during the time we were there. But there just weren’t enough of them. One server covering that many covers isn’t sufficient, and unfortunately then colours what would otherwise have been an enjoyable experience. In short, the owners need to staff-up.

Terrible, supo horrible

Worst meal in four weeks. Had the menu del dia. The soup and dessert were very bland but fine. The spghetti carbonara was the weirdest thing I have ever eaten, the spaghetti was very under cooked and had some thing on it that tasted like stew. Complained to the man bit he was completely indifferent, not an apology, an offer of excluding it from the price or a free coffee as a gesture. Won't be going back.

Quantity and quality have gone down

We ordered the menu of the day (the regular one, not the mini) and were surprised by how little it was. The vegetable cream was fine, nothing more, the tofu and sweet potato cake was delicious and we didn't like the dessert at all, it was ridiculous, super small, you could eat it with a spoonful. In addition to the juice of the day, which was good, we ordered another natural juice, this one was bad, it had an ingredient that was acidic, we had to change it. I have been many times and I have noticed that the quantity and quality have decreased. And the service quite slow.

Just disappointing on so many levels

Went on a Friday night with friends. I ordered the salad with cheese. It was a soggy mess of leaves and fruit all in it’s own oil, was terrible. So the food is not good but the service was even worse. If you can get someone to grace your table the service is very very poor. The waitress got our order wrong, didn’t clear the table of bottles and plates and was chatting to other members of staff or on their phone. Now time to pay. We asked if they could split the bill between 3 couples. NO WE CANT, came the reply. Waitress was rude and just stood there. My advice, avoid this place it’s total rubbish on so many levels.

Vegetarian gem

Fantastic alternative to the meat and fish temples! We had the homemade spring rolls, burger and the warm salad along with freshly made smoothies- all delicious! What a contrast to the cafe just down the road where the smoothies were made with frozen fruit and tons of sugar. Location is great and there’s lovely indoor and outdoor seating. Service was fine, though it does help if one speaks Spanish.

Great vegetation place with vegan options

Lovely vegetarian place with vegan options in the heart of Puerto de la Cruz. As a vegan it can be challenging to find a restaurant that offers vegan dishes. This place has many vegan options which was exactly I was looking for. I’ve tried the vegan menu which consists of a seitan sandwich, fries and a smoothie. All was very tasty! They have tables inside and outside as well. Friendly and fast service. Prices are reasonable too.

Excellent variety of healthy options and perfect quiet location.

Such a lovely off the beaten track spot. Quiet and a very Spanish feel. The waiter was so attentive, very polite and efficient. The menu was full of options. I had the Balance Bowl which they ‘veganised’ for me. My family ate the Pink Burgers with generous helping of fries, and a meal deal which consisted of a smoothie and burger. It was all delicious, filling and extremely good value. We wish we could return but are moving on today. Highly recommend.

Favorite restaurant in Tenerife

I attended the restaurant during my trip to Tenerife. Excellent vegetarian dishes at affordable prices. After trying it I went back to dinner every day, spending a maximum of 15 euros (dessert and soft drinks included). I tried different dishes every day, and it was always delicious. Highly Recommendation
