Stumbled on this place by accident, because it looked nice from the outside, looks more stylish than most places by quite a lot :) I ordered a bunch of tapas and 3 glasses of wine from the tasting menu. I went with the local wines at i think 9€, all of them were quality wines, coming from Finland this is a nice surprise, Everything was presented and tasted lovely and honestly priced. After the tapas i went for a cheese plate and was not disappointed, these guys know their cheese. (as they should with a Dutch background) Just go there if you are sick of all the tourist traps and mediocre food. No regrets shall be had and to be honest i wish i discovered this place sooner,

We had a lovely dinner here, exceeded my expectations. We had a wine tasting flight each and the chef’s platter. The young blonde chap that served us was brilliant, very knowledgeable about the wines and we heard him speaking multiple languages to different tables, he was so helpful and friendly. We bought a bottle to take home. The chefs platter for 2 was huge for 9.50 each, 8 dishes. I have never been a particular fan of canarian potatoes but these were great, best I’ve had in Tenerife or Lanzarote. We also had lemon pie and dessert wines. Special shout out also to the restaurant toilets which were the best we’d seen in a Tenerife restaurant and are not always nice. Fab place, we will send our friends and family here and will be back. I would hugely recommend it.

We went twice during our week in Puerto and were delighted each time. I would specifically recommend the wine tastings which offer you between 3 and 5 small glasses of quality wine at two different price points. If you are interested in wine it is an absolute must. The friendly, elegant waiters are excellent with specialist knowledge and happy to spend time explaining the wines on offer, making further recommendations and answering questions.
In addition we had some of the best small plates we had all week-not just the usual, but also some different and unusual dishes. The ambience is relaxed and convivial. Highly recommended but you will need to book!

Really good service and food! I had some croquettes, meatballs and dates. Delicious!! Since I’m travelling alone they informed me that they could half the portions so it wouldn’t be too much. I tried some local wine from Tenerife as well. I was pleasantly surprised! It was really good. All and all, would definitely go there again!!

Con Pasion is a hidden gem in Puerto de la Cruz.
Their menu is not typical Canarian, but a nice fusion of tapas style dishes that are easy to share with your friends.
The biggest surprise is their vast collection of wines, especially Canarian wines. The staff has a great knowledge of their wines and will find a perfect recommendation to match their dishes and the best thing is that after your dinner you can buy a bottle to take home.

Amazing tapas- best I have ever had. The Fishcakes and duck pate dishes were wonderful. Reasonable prices- spent less than €60 for 5 plates to share, a dessert to share and a bottle of wine. Excellent service. Plates were not brought out all at once, the waiters checked when we wanted each one which we liked. No delay on food. Would definitely return if we visit the area again.

First time here and we had a really enjoyable experience. The food was excellent, we shared a mixed platter to start, followed by 2 delicious dishes from the tapas menu and the local wine tasting, sampling 4 very different local wines, 2 white and 2 red, was really interesting and superbly presented by our waiter.
Really nice relaxed atmosphere, lovely surroundings and great service and value.

We end t for dinner, had a selection of tapas along with the 4 local wines. Excellent food and service, great knowledge on the wines and very personable staff. Portions were very generous, 4 tapas and some bread filled the two of us, We enjoyed every dish, particularly the dates and croquettes. Price was very reasonable too. Would highly recommend

In our 10 day holiday we went to Con Pasion twice. This was the best place we visited. Very nice selection of local wines from small bodegas. Good and creative tapas that change all the time. Also our compliments to the staff who completed our 5* experience. The owners happen to be Dutch and really have a passion for food, wine and service. Don’t skip this place!

This wine and foodbar is totally different compared to the usual places where you can eat and drink. It looks amazing and the food is great. Also the service was excellent. If you are in Puerto de la Cruz you definitly should pay a visit and take a bite with a nice local wine.

Last night was our 3rd or 4th time at Con Pasion. It was fantastic! We speak a little Spanish but the owners speak flawless English so we could ask lots of questions. We decided to try a wine from La Palma and asked them to choose for us. We ordered bread, their lovely albondigas and 3 of their specials which were smoked mackerel (so tasty and very nice texture), chicken satay croquettes (so delicious and were my hubbie to be’s favourite) and dates stuffed with goats cheese, wrapped in Serrano with sweet pepper jam and some type of gorgeous crunchy, sweet topping (my favourite). All of this rounded off with a zaparocco coffee each. Very reasonably priced for the quality and we left full. If you really like well-thought out food and an extensive wine list, this is the place for you - enjoy!

We had dinner here outside, sharing several tapas and trying multiple wines. The server was very helpful at helping us pick something out, and we really enjoyed a bottle of this wine that had a skull painted in bright colors (sorry, can't recall the name, perhaps because of all the wine). There are a lot of good restaurants on this part of Calle Iriarte, as Rissta and Il Ponte are both down the street, and both excellent in their own right, so if this place is full, check out one of the other places.

Arrived there this evening without a booking and we were able to get a table as we were early. Chose two glasses of red wine to start and then onto the tapas choices. Plenty to choose from.
The wines were delicious and were soon gone but then so was the first servings of tapas. Another two different red wines this time with the remaining food. It was great and our waiter was very helpful when selecting our wine.
Another visit due on Thursday I think to try some white wines this time!

Great place and great food, we chose 2 cold tapas and then 3 hot tapas which was perfect for 2 people and was all excellent. The curried prawns were amazing. We let the waiter choose the wine after telling him the type we liked and that was also great. Lovely place and we will be back before we return to the UK
