You will not be disappointed! Spent a week in La Laguna, found this place mid-week and ended up going back two more times the cuisine was that good. Apparently, Obispado means bishop so be prepared for serious Catholic iconography in the dark wooded rooms with...lava rock covered walls. Had the crab with seaweed and avocado, YUM! The beef solomillo with setas had a delicious, savory sauce. Had a pollo salad with small breaded chicken breast chunks that included star fruit slices, tiny cherry tomatoes, sunflower seeds (I think) a bit of dried fruit (dates?) and a wonderful salad dressing I had never before tasted a dressing that tasty. Atun with quinoa, so refreshing. Fell in love love love with this límon and dried strawberry dessert. We ate either at one of the three sidewalk tables or in the front barroom but the place has a back room and an upstairs so there appears to be plenty of seats. I wouldn't technically call it Spanish food (of course they have jamon Iberico) but the food is super good, I found the prices VERY reasonable, the staff was so welcoming and friendly... I'm just sad I had to leave Tenerife. You will not be disappointedMore

Very good home made dishes. Nicely presented. Took some time to be served. In a quiet street. You can eat outside or inside. Very friendly service. Menu in French or German and English and Spanish.

Had the great pleasure of dining in this restaurant to celebrate my wifes 60th birthday.. The food and wine and general ambience were beyond compare. Cannot recommend this highly enough. Already looking forward to our next visit to Tenerife,

We went for a main meal rather than the tapas and were very happy with the quality and value. We both had veal steaks - I don't recall being asked how we liked them cooked, but they were served rare which is how we like...our steaks. A lemon dessert with dried raspberries was also wonderful. One minor note of caution - there was a dish referred to as Gulas and when we enquired of the waiter we were advised it was a fish dish. My wife likes fish so she was considering ordering it - but fortunately we checked on-line first. It turned out the Gulas is a shortened form of angulas which is Spanish for elvers (baby eels). For my wife, this meant it became a dish to avoid. This is in no way intended as a criticism of the dish (as we didn't try it) nor is it intended as a criticism of the waiter - we were in Spain and it is our responsibity to get by in the local language and cannot reasonably expect the locals to have precise translations for every dish. It is simply intended as a cautionary note to others who may similarly prefer to avoid an eel dish.More

The restaurant used to be a bishop's restaurant and it has been tastefully renovated inside. They seemed to be serving tapas in the bar area downstairs, with a restaurant upstairs. We only came in for a drink and a couple of tapas but it was...a quiet night and the waitress told us we could go upstairs as the restaurant wasn't busy. It was a chilly December evening when we visited but it was lovely and cosy inside. The tapas were a bit on the pricey side but were excellent - well presented and very tasty. The staff were helpful and welcoming.More

We were recommended this place, and the food is very nice. The atmosphere very quiet and rather sedate.. but if that's what you are looking for.. it will suit you!

We tried several tapas, artichokes, goat cheese with fig puff, peppers, eggplant... Everything tastes really good. We also tried steak with foie gras and blue cheese sauce. À really nice place to enjoy traditional food and drinks.
