We were greeted by a welcoming and enthusiastic waiter who sat us at a table and took a drinks order. Being overtly complimentary with good humour we felt our custom was appreciated. Food was good and reasonably priced and we found this was a very positive lunch experience. Right on Plaza del Charco, the location was great too.

Visited this place most days of our holiday. Was made to feel very welcome our first time, with the waitstaff learning our names and giving us top tier service. Throughout our holiday they constantly gave us perks, like letting us choose their music, being friendly and saying hello every visit. They were all happy to serve and made us feel welcome. The food was amazing, the cheap cocktails were very strong, even the cocktail maker and the chef joined in with the hospitality. Free shots included with the meal most nights and more than you could ever expect from a restaurant. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Definitely worth a visit. The food was amazing. Me ans my fiancé came for food and we're going to have separate steaks. The server recommended we try a big steak to share as it's better value and better taste. Glad we did. It was so delicious. Staff are super nice, cocktails are great and reasonably priced. Would 100% recommend x Santiago was Brill 😊👍

Every day we walked down to this café for a coffee and beer. We had fantastic devil pizza ,lasagna, tapas, and they even cooked rabbit special for my husband. The staff were always so happy to see you, and kept the place very clean in pandemic.

Came here for lunch and could not have asked for more. Our server Santiago was fantastic, recommended a special cut of beef based on where I was from, showed us the cut and then ensured that everything was cooked to perfection. 100% would recommend. The staff truly make this a great place to eat!

Pizzeria La Tasquita is centrally located on the main square of Puerto del la Cruz and offers a rich menu with both lunch dishes, pasta, pizza and meat dishes.
I chose to order a beer and pasta carbonara.
The beer was quickly served with a platter of bread by a nice and efficient waiter. The pasta was served after about 15 minutes which was perceived as appropriate.
The carbonara tasted good, but there was little ham and the spaghetti could have been cooked a little longer. I also missed that the dish was served with spoon in addition to fork and knife.
The staff appeared cheerful and polite and the service was generally good, but I missed some more interest and commitment from the guests.
Overall, this was a mid-tree experience and not something I will remember.

We shared a pizza and a salad for four lunches in a row. Polite and prompt service, but the real winner is the food. Good salad and really good pizza. Good produce well treated. Pizza looked and tasted like wood oven cooked. 5/5, would definitely eat there again.

We did not eat here but stopped for a daytime beer several times during our weeks holiday.
The staff are charming and friendly, not like some other places who get the hump when you don’t want food. The food that was coming out smelt and looked delicious.

Pizza was good, better than avarage I would say. That was the of course the main thing. However the service was horrible to put it mildly. So bad that it made me think that Brett Easton Ellises book "Less than a zero" was not about rich Californian kids but about this place. Took way over hour to get the pizzas. We ordered extra drinks- never received them. Two forks and and one knife. Requested for the missing knife never received it. If you want to eat pizza and be treted like a dirt this is your place. On the other hand if you want to eat pizza and be treated as a customer choose another option! Maybe busy evening or general concept of service? Go figure.

The food was good .. however we had a clash with a rude, drugged or paranoid waiter.
According to him, with my attitude (I only tried to be friendly by bringing him some dishes after eating the pizza.)
( about 55 years old waiter ... ) He spoke to me very badly, ordering me to leave the plates in their place. leave the dishes on the table !! Don`t help me !! I apologized without understanding why. He kept insisting that with my attitude, he could be fired, he told me that his boss was watching him on the cameras or something like that.. True story !

The food (pizza) was decent, but a bit pricey. The staff was very keen on seating new customers, forgetting that we exist. We needed to ask for the check two times, even though the waiter nodded his head to us the first time. Overall, indeed a 3/5 experience.

This restaurant has the best service and staff in town. Me and my friends went here everyday for five days, and we were always welcomed with the biggest smiles. The food is amazing as well, with fair prices. They also have a large variety of cocktails, which have a deliciuos taste, and never failed to impress. I would love to come back here, and see all the amazing staff again.

Lovely lovely pizza- I had the ‘devil’ one- was spicy but so tasty!
I was here solo and the waiter was having a laugh with me, I was trying out my Spanish, he was very friendly 😊
Great value, not expensive at all! Great food! Overall would definitely return.

Best place in puerto de la cruz, extremely friendly staff and great food. Visited here a number of times throughout the holiday and staff made a real effort with us. Would highly recommend.

We ate here the other day, and one of the better places we've been to in Puerto de la Cruz.
We had one meat dish and one pizza.
The meat was good, but was lacking a sauce. We got mayonnaise though.
The pizza was very tasty. Great crust and delicious toppings.
We had a drink each, which were okay, but as the ice melted it started tasting of chlorine. So that was a BIG minus. Maybe they make their own ice from the tap water? Avoid the ice.
