Amazing views and really quite upscale considering we only paid around 8 euros of 2 coffees and cake. Prices are very reasonable but view is spectacular. Cakes are to die for. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Arrecife.

We visited this hotel cafe on a recommendation from a couple we met on holiday. From entering the cafe to leaving 2 hours latter was an highlight of our holiday, firstly the total panoramic views of of Arrecife were fantastic and worth a visit to...see on there own. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was incredible. The menu was small but varied and covered all tastes my wife had coffee and doughnut, and I had a hot chocolate and a Gluten free cookie which were booked home made and delicious. Also bearing in mind we were in the 5 star hotel, the costs were fair and reasonable. I would highly recommend anyone in Arrecife looking for somewhere to have a drink and snack should try Blue 17 cafe which is located on the 17th floor of the highest hotel in Lanzarote.More
30 minutes and still not served. The staff are overwhelmed. Lots of middle managers but no service. Still waiting. 40 minutes now. Just served Where are the senior managers.
Worst experience in whole Lanzarote! Unfortunately, the many waiters were totally overwhelmed by sparsely occupied tables. We were ignored for over 30 minutes. It took almost 50 minutes until we had our drinks. Unfortunately, we had this experience several times. The prices are too expensive...for the quality of service.More

Save money and visit the roof top terrace enjoy the stunning views for free The service is so poor you don’t have to pay for a drink . Waited 35 mins for a drink and another 55 min to be served . Restaurant not busy.... Several couples and a group of six walked out without being served . Staff had a lengthy conversation while I was waiting to pay and shouted across the restaurant. My tip, take a bottle of water, sit back enjoy the views - you definitely won’t be hassled by staff here .More
Came for breakfast with my family. There were two other tables in at the same time as us. It took 30 min for us to get served for drinks and 55 min to get served for food. Really disappointing. We watched a few other tables...get up and leave after not being servedMore

My wife and I were staying in the Gran so for us this was one of our hotel bars. As mentioned it is the views that everyone is going for - but you cannot go outside which I guess for some will be a disappointment....We ate on one occasion and just had drinks on another during our time and did not experience any undue service issues. It is not a place where the staff are rushing around and I guess the assumption is that customers are not up there for a quick visit. For residents of the hotel there is not really an excuse not to go up in the elevator, and for non-residents it is worth making the effort just before sunset for a cocktail or two ...More

We visited Blue 17 for coffee, as we have done several times before. We ordered our coffees from a waiter who then took orders from 2 other tables. Those other tables were served before us and after waiting for half an hour and no signs...of our coffee, we left. Very disappointing.More
For a 5 star hotel you would expect better service, the Wi-Fi app wasn’t working so asked for paper menu which arrived 10 minutes later, two scrambled egg a coffee and a pint of beer (short measure) arrived and then had to wait 15 minutes...after finishing for the bill (which we asked twice for) Total time spent over 1 hours 20 min for ,three stars is for the viewMore
We have visited a few times this week for a beer or two and to watch the sunset. Great views. On the down side, the service is poor and inattentive. I would say short staffed however, its never been especially busy when we have been...there. The piped music can be quite irritating. Another downer is the short measures. We have had jarras (half litres) that were well short and noticed that others were being served the same, bearing in mind that one is paying a premium (though still excellent value compared to UK prices) to be in this upmarket bar. Poor show and could do so much better considering the location and wonderful views. Maybe it is just poor management and underpaid staff.More
Great views and a pleasant space but clearly they have too few staff. Long waits for food and drinks and staff stressed. Food was good when it arrived and drinks generous.
Great views over Arrecife and south towards the airport & beyond. Warm & sincere welcome. 4 glasses of El Grifo Dry White Wine for just over €20. Very reasonable!
Very disapointing after visiting a week.or so ago. Thought it would be nice to celebrate with my family my 50th birthday and have breakfast. Waitress was very pleasant but we waited over an hour and 15 minutos for our breakfast to then be told the...kitchen had forgot to do our food. We waited a further half hour and to be honest the breakfast came and was very basic. The fruit and yogurt bowl.no taste. My pavo and cheese toasted sándwich very dry. The crossiants very basic the only nice breakfast was the salmón and avocado toast. Its a shame as we are residents here on the island and would not recommend the breafast. I.would recommend goin for a cofe there though or a drink and look at the lovely views.More
We visited for an early evening drink as we'd heard about the amazing views. We weren't disappointed (views are fantastic) and were happy with our drinks (very reasonably priced cocktails included). However, it was very difficult to get served. The two waitresses were running around...distractedly, despite some tables being empty ( seemingly waiting for people who'd booked them). It took us half an hour to pay and leave. A family was waiting for a table and we were frustrated that they couldn't have ours. My husband tried to pay at the bar, but the bar person barked 'at the table' to him. We also witnessed the frustration of other customers. I'm glad we went, for the views, but they really need to sort the service.More
we loved the staff and the view and the hamburgers too ;-) Yolanda was nery very nice and smiling all the time
