For starter you are served perhaps the best bread we had on La Gomera served with olive oil and salt. Really well made solomillos topped with e.g. goatcheese and figs confit or served with port wine sauce. The bacalaou baked in truffles sauce was also...very tasty. For sweets the home made icecream is recommended. Making a reservation is advisable since the restaurant is quite small.More

When ordering, you are asked if you want bread. We said yes, and it was the best bread we had on the canaries! Along with excellent olive oil and salt. We went with the Ferrero rocher and pulpo starters, which both were different from what...we expected, but good, especially the pulpo. Then we both had the Solomillo de Avila, which was high-quality meat cooked to order. The crust could have been elaborated more, though. Service was very friendly.More

Walked in with my mother at 20h00 right after another couple. Had to ask for a table, once the waiter showed us the table, we sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. The couple that arrived prior to us was being attented, taken care...of, same as the 2 other tables already there. 20mins passed, and not even a glance from the waiter. The ice cream fridge was blasting at 200 decibels right next to us as well making the wait quiet pleasant (should i point out i'm being ironic). After nothing happened and the abscence of service was still obvious, we left. I can't possibly imagine how you can ignore customers for over 20minutes when you restaurant has only 9 people in it. Unacceptable. There are plenty other restaurants near by that are much more worth it and with a staff that actually takes care of its customers.More

Innovative dishes, wonderful menu, attentive staff, stand-out interior. We went there for a birthday meal, and had a great time. Excellent wine recommendations, too. And super responsive when you contact to book. Would definitely come back when next in San Sebastian!

What a delight! Tucked away upstairs above a courtyard, the best small restaurant we found in St Sebastian town during our week’s stay. Short a la carte menu of excellent fresh fish and meat, with some daily specials and an array of interesting starters to...whet the appetite. Exceptional cooking, straightforward good wine choices. Friendly, accommodating and knowledgable waiters, unpretentious but comfortable, contemporary interior. We learned it had been operating at the current site for four years, and for years longer on a nearby site. Long may it continue.More

Airy upstairs dining room (full length doors open). Excellent steak & lamb; good wine; fair prices; good service. Note the photo makes it look like long canteen-style tables - not so on our visit - tables for 2,4 or 6. Ice cream parlour downstairs -...also v goodMore

One of the best places in San Sebastián for lunch or dinner, serving a full menu of interesting and delicious dishes. Contemporary feeling in this first floor dining room with attentive and welcoming waiters. Certainly a place we return to each time we are here.
