Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Usually I visit them with my little son👶 just to enjoy a cup of coffee with some delicious desert. Their cakes are always perfect for me because they are authentic, obviously made of local fresh ingredients, and are full of love💝. The variety is never...big but you can still choose something you want to enjoy right now. And it's always a pleasure for my mouth. They also sell lunch food, which looks very tasty, seems to me I've come to my neighbors house)))))) One more thing that I like is the price which is rather low. But in this case the quality is still high 👍More

Rather cheap place for lunch, while also being overly simplistic. For 8€ you'll get a half meal, for which you can select only one type of precooked food from mostly pasta based options, along with one desert and drink. As the foods are all of...the same price, it was strange why combining them onto same plate was not possible, as they are basically in a buffet. Food quality was ok. Brownie was dry. Service in english was very limited, as in most of the places in the island. Does not accept credit cards and does not warn about it.More

Meny people searching for "not a tourist" place, well here is one of them. This is a fun place. I am 46years old and was by far the youngest guest. You choose your food from what they have on display and then they microwave it...hot for you. Tasty simple food for a great price. No tapas as far as I seen, what a relife.More

Down the far end of caller lluna this place was filled with locals at lunchtime. Half plate lunch meal includes main, drink and dessert (it seems to double as a bakery) for E8. If you don't mind them microwaving your food to warm it up...it's fantastic value and well away from all the tourists that flood the main square in Soller when the train arrives about 11.30.More

An interesting concept- you pay for a plate or takeaway box of home prepared food and they microwave it for you. A single price covers the cost of a main course, desert and generous glass of wine (or soft drink) We had excellent paella Husband...had roast chicken with vegetables Packed with mostly elderly locals. Spotless toilets. Good service given how busy the place was.More

We came across this cafe for the locals whilst exploring the streets of Soller. A range of ready prepared dishes looked inviting in the large glass fronted counter. They are served by friendly and helpful staff. They even took the time to find a gluten...free dish for my husband. You can buy a quick take away snack, eat in (meals can be reheated in a microwave) or have the food put in foil trays to take home for later. Nothing fancy but tasty and wholesome dishes reasonably priced. We would call again if in Soller.More

Having read reviews from others to find restaurants away from the busy square, we found this lovely cafe near the museum. They offered a completo deal, which included a starter, main, lovely pastry and tea or coffee all for 10 euros! It was very busy,...lots of locals, always a good sign. You ordered at the counter and then took your seat. We were served with a smile. The food was fresh and tasty and we enjoyed it so much we returned there again. The fact that you cannot pay by credit card did not bother us as this probably helps to keep their prices down.More

Away from the central cafes and restaurants, this neat cafe was just what we were looking for just to stop for a drink. It had a constant stream of customers while we were there and although we didn't eat, the food looked fresh and tasty....I'm not sure it was fully my idea of tapas as it all seemed salad based but it did look good. The service was excellent.More

This small restaurant offers delicious food and pastry. The fish I had was one of the best ever. Service might be a bit chaotic but at least one does not feel like in food factory.

Had lunch at this small resto Food seems to be homemade and fresh . The ordering process seemed to be a bit confusing. They mention a price for a complete meal then throw in small portions in form of tapas. We ate fairly well but...when it came to pay , they didn't accept credit cards. They post trip advisor on the entrance so this means tourists are welcomed. I would recommend they post : NO CREDIT CARDs! As a traveller , only rule that applies here is to post NO Credit Cards So that tourists can be prepared with cash .More

Friendly, no frills, a bit like a canteen but excellent value. We had a plate of mixed tapas for 5 euros at lunch time, and it was very good. There is a nice selection of local Majorcan food which you select and then they heat...in the microwave. It was filling, and the price of one small dish of tapas in other places. One lunch we also got them to make baguettes which were very good value.More

They made us get up to see at the counter what they had to eat. 5 mins later another couple arrived and the waitress was very kind to actually explain what they had instead of asking them to check the counter. (To note, I am...Spanish). We ordered tap water to drink with the food and she kept insisting us to get a bottle. The best part was when we had to pay. Our bill was 10.50 and she wanted to charge us 15, i had to explain what we ate etc... and then she wanted to charge us 11.50, at that moment i explained again that it should be 10.50, to what she just said give me the money. She was rude, impolite and does not have a clue about customer service. The food was just ok. They are lucky they are in a touristic village, otherwise they wouldnt have made it.More

While visiting Soller we got hungry around lunch time. we looked around and found near the center this cozy restaurant. The menu of the day (menú del día) had different choices besides having a large dish or a smaller dish. We opted for the small...dish and we could combine two different entrees in each plate. The way it worked was by looking at the different selections under the glass countertop and telling, in our case, Esperanza our choices. The food was good and Esperanza made sure our food needs were taken care. The decor is functional and modern. This was a good value for the quality.More
