This quaint little restaurant located in the heart of Formentera (Sant Ferran de Ses Roques) with its lovely indoor patio, the busy outdoor terrace and enchanting staff has my heart!! The owner recommended we get the “Tostas con Anchoas” as a entree, if you’re up...for something new, try it cause you won’t regret it. We later ordered an “Arroz Negro” and let me tell you, the fresh fish, the perfectly cooked rice and the exquisite family recipe for alioli made this dish one of the most memorable ones from our trips to Formentera!! You will want to keep some space for the dessert cause you wouldn’t want to miss out on the owner’s homemade treats. You might have to make a reservation at least a day before going as it’s always full. This restaurant and its wonderful staff deserve so much more than 5 stars and there’s no doubt that I will be coming back very soon!!More

All the food we tasted at this small restaurant has been more than amazing. The waitress was very nice (I think she is the owner, you can tell she really wants you to feel at home). We ordered some starters like prawn and scallops carpaccio,...tomato salad and some fritters and the we had paella, which was absolutely superb. Will definitely come back next year!More

I’ve discovered this place a few years ago and it’s a mandatory stop for me every time I am in Formentera. The place is small and cozy and it makes you feel like at home, especially for the couple that owns it which is the...best in making you feel at ease all the time. Food is awesome, the best paellas I’ve had in my life and they have a full list of them that can satisfy everybody’s tastes. Very good choice of local wines, local appetizers and delicious home made desserts, and also a list of alternatives to paella for those that don’t want to have it (you crazy people 😜). The bill is definitely spot on as well: prices are totally aligned with the quality of the food and a bit lower than the average of the island. You can’t leave Formentera without trying La Mariterranea!More

Well after reading the below I felt I had to pay this place a visit!! There are many reasons to visit formentera but for me I’m going to make this another, if you enjoy a real food experience then look no further, the place is...stripped back laid back and just let’s the food do the Talking. The host / owner if I remember correctly was Tilly/billy who’s vibrance and hard work only adds to the experience I shan’t say no more apart from every dish stands out we will definately be returning. Ps the chef is English much to our surprise and a credit to the culture thanksMore

You cannot go wrong here! The worst: The fried assortment of xipirones, calamari rings etc was a little scarce (based on my spanish standards). The best: Paellas and rices generally are top notch, even by spanish/ valencian standards. Top notch desserts. I think they are...valencian, which also might explain why they know rices.More

We loved this little and cosy restaurant. Paella is really delicious. Reasonable prices for quality. We would like to eat again that paella, but it was fully booked (we still waited on a standby list, but we had no lucky to come back). The deserts...were also delicious. The best place in town, worthy your visit and book in advance.More

Very friendly service, an amazing menu specialising in various takes on paella (we had the ox tail, carrot and potato - call ahead of you want to book the chicken and rabbit). The key lime pie and local Formentera wine were worth the visit alone....Book ahead if you can, the terrace is fine but the view is just of the toad, ask to be sat in the garden if possible but we sat out the front and still had a great time.More
