This restaurant is well worth searching out, it's not on the beach and it's not in a village! Situated just off Playa Migjorn, next to one of the two big hotels on the island. We've eaten here twice in this year (2024) and once in 2022 and every dish has been exceptional, main meals and desserts. The staff are friendly and it has a very relaxed atmosphere. Vegetarian options were offered on a few meals and a very reasonable "tasting menu" was also on offer.

fantastic restaurant

i have been here four times now in the last two years and this is far and away the best experience I have on every trip. they never disappoint the owners and staff are a delite. the chef is so original and meals are so elaborate but yet incredibly affordable. I just don't understand why there isn't a line out the door waiting for a table. the menu is simple but their is a significant story and details behind every dish so make sure you ask a lot of questions and get the details. it is fantastic

Phenomenal dinner - one of the highest quality restaurants on the island! We loved our evening at 190 Pasos! Small, fine, family-run restaurant with mostly local ingredients - the dishes are super innovative, extremely fresh and taste indescribably good! Tapas style with lots of fresh fish and modern interpretations. The prices are absolutely fair and rather in the lower segment for Formentera standards. Very friendly and attentive service team and lovingly decorated restaurant. Since the reopening in June 2022 with a new owner and team, a completely new experience and a MUST TRY on the island ♥️

If you go to Formentera, you have to try 190 steps

Great experience in 190 steps. Signature cuisine, exquisite flavors, each dish we tried was better than the last, but if I had to highlight what we tried: the scallops based on white garlic and spectacular grapes, the octopus at its peak with a brutal flavor, the best steak tartar that I have ever tried was here, also a hearty dish. Very good quality-price, taking into account the prices of the island. I don't want to forget the attention of the staff, friendly and polite, they got every recommendation right. It becomes a must-see every time you return to Formentera. Thanks for everything.

We had a variety of dishes for our party, all with amazing taste and quality of food. The menu is not extensive but the care and attention to detail made every dish very enjoyable. It is worth a detour as the restaurant is not in the main tourist spots on the island.

We were pleasantly surprised to dine at this restaurant. Spectacular dishes to share, we ordered 3 and it was difficult to decide on the best… tiradito, scallops or mackerel. Pleasant service and we finished it off with dessert! Lemon brioche… without words. Wishing to repeat

Amazing Fresh Tapas

We went here for the lobster, chips and fried egg. Under new management so no lobster chips☹️. However the Tapas menu here is amazing, we had 4 fish courses which were superb. Most ceviche; sea bass, sardines, scallops, teriyaki mackerel - delicious and not too expensive. Defo go again.

Found by chance near our Accommodation, this place won us over with a different menu than usual, refined and balanced. Whether you want to share or not, they deserve both meat and fish dishes. Very professional and attentive service. Don't miss it!

Beautiful food, great service!

This place is a pure gem nestled in the midst of the Platja des Mijorn. We came across it on our first day in Formentera and we were very pleased we did. The service is impeccable with food to match. A big tapas style dining experience (3/4 dishes for two people is plenty). The warm home made bread with butter and olive oil is the most delightful thing I have ever tasted! The mojitos were made using mint from the garden and were delicious! Steak tartar, scallops, burrata salad … all an absolute delight! The prices are also very reasonable. I can highly recommend this place and will certainly be back!

Friendly service and honest food. It's not fancy, but good fare and attentive service. We had two pizzas (the salami is a winner) with a decent Rioja for under 50 euro. Worth a visit if you are nearby.

A hidden gem.

We showed up at 1330 and there was nobody except the owner. Yes we are open and we ordered a Formentera Salad and Paella for 2. The salad was fresh, very tasty and had strokes of dry fish in it which was lovely. For the Paella, after being in Spain for almost 13 years and being married to a Spanish lady, we had no words. It was excellent. Full of lobster, chicken, shrimps and a lovely base saus. Chapeau the best ever. Service was professional and price conform the quality. Very clean place.

Nice pizzas and quiet area

Most pizzas were 12€ the size was normal, good. We had the special one (13€) and the vegetarian one, and they both were really nice. The place isn't in a busy area, which is nice too, but there was a good amount of people. Cañas are 2,30€. Hope you get an idea of the prices with this low quality photo.

We arrived in the Bar Restaurant Carabela by accident and have been - very positive surprised - after all „Italian kitchen“ it was refreshing to find a Spanish excellent kitchen - the fish Sirvia was the best I ever had and the service was very friendly - from my point of view a must to go!! Unfortunately we did not took pic:(
