We showed up at 1330 and there was nobody except the owner. Yes we are open and we ordered a Formentera Salad and Paella for 2. The salad was fresh, very tasty and had strokes of dry fish in it which was lovely. For the...Paella, after being in Spain for almost 13 years and being married to a Spanish lady, we had no words. It was excellent. Full of lobster, chicken, shrimps and a lovely base saus. Chapeau the best ever. Service was professional and price conform the quality. Very clean place.More

Most pizzas were 12€ the size was normal, good. We had the special one (13€) and the vegetarian one, and they both were really nice. The place isn't in a busy area, which is nice too, but there was a good amount of people. Cañas...are 2,30€. Hope you get an idea of the prices with this low quality photo.More

We would like to thank Juan and his lovely wife for the great welcome we received during our break in playa mijorn. We ate at carabela several times during our stay in the hostal close by. Juan and his wife were great hosts and couldn't...do enough for us. The food was of a high standard and they do their very best to make every visit memorable. Thank you so much. Can't recommend enough this little gemMore

Just to vary our meals from the upmarket Formentera Playa Hotel we popped into here for lunch. We ordered the tuna Pizza with Olives chips & very spicy garlic mayo alioli dip. It was delicious swilled down with Estrella Beer. It does look cheap &...cheerful (plastic seats on outside) but that belies the excellent food. For footy fans he did have recent Scot v England match on the telly so if it's not on in the nearby major Hotel pop across here & have a great meal with your beer.More

Whilst modest on the outside, the food on the inside is charming. Apparently it has a wonderful paella, which we did not sample, but the local hotel owner recommended highly. It also served local Formentera wine which is fantastic! Reminded me of wine from Santorini.

Appearances are deceiving with this place. Whilst the decor is dated and uninviting, the pizzas were absolutely fantastic and the service excellent. We went back there twice and ordered different pizzas and found it hard to fault them. Bar Restaurante Carabela is the ideal casual,...cheap holiday meal to end a long day on the beach.More

The place is very holiday-ish, with plastic chairs and not much effort with the décor, but it delivers. The food was good and fresh, and the sangria was just great. Owner who also waited on the tables was very pleasant and attentive, Would recommend as...a quick eat before doing something for the evening,More
