I am a senior professional with ample traveling experience throught the world and fluent in Spanish. Although highly recommended, service was poor and non-existing. After numerous requests for service at the bar, the person in charge plainly said he would not provide service, without even looking at me.

You need to persevere to get any food in this place. The crowds are huge, but the staff is efficient and will follow up. Grab a table outside first, and send another person to order the dishes n bring them to the table. The risotto, crispy Pork, foie, polpo were all good.

Of all of the Pintxo bars that I tried during my trip to San Sebastian, this was the first and my favourite. In fact, it was so good, that during my visits to other places I almost wished I had stopped here. Unlike other pintxo bars, they don't spread out their wares for all to see, but they are made-to-order,... More

If you want a typical San Sebastian tapas bar... this is it. The atmosphere is fun, lively, and somewhat chaotic. There is really no method to the madness and you have to push your way to the bar to order. The staff behind the bar were efficient and were patient with non-natives. The tapas are prepared somewhat quickly and there... More

This spot is teeny tiny, and it gets crowded quickly. We did not stay long since there was no seating for my father-in-law. We tried the short rib pinto, which was tasty. Service was ok; they forgot one of our dishes and then we just never got it; it was weird.

This was one of my favorite places in Sam Sebastian. Suckling pig and steak was so delicious. Atmosphere was bustling and packed ! Highly recommended!

This is another place I go a lot. I love the food. In a hidden corner one of the best foods ever. I love it.

Day 5 in Donostia San Sebastián and our first visit to San Telmo. My wife and I have eaten in many of the bars and enjoyed the great food available during our week here. Today's lunch was excellent. My wife had the tuna which was perfectly cooked still raw and beautifully red in the middle, and the hake fillet again... More

Three of us shared the following pintxos: 1. Suckling pig 2. Beef cheeks 3. Grilled Octopus 4. Mushroom risotto We absolutely enjoyed the food and couldn't resist and ordered a second serving of the suckling pig to share. But get there early! We arrived at 7:20 and started queuing. The line progressively got longer with many locals and tourists. Otherwise... More
