Went there without reservations. Turned away from several higher rated restaurants for dinner. What a surprise. for 25E had 3 course meal with a bottle of wine. Seafood dishes were excellent and you had 6 choices in each category. Plentiful and very tasty. Very little English spoken but staff bent over backwards to make us happy. Filled with locals

I had a delicious lunch of traditional Basque dishes at Restaurante Zumeltzegi in the old part of Donostia. I had a fish soup, bread, and roasted lamb. I also had a sheep's milk dessert, a kind of rennet pudding - think yogurt. I loved every dish. The service is excellent. There is a waiter who speaks perfect English, French, Spanish,... More

We ate a tapas lunch in this very busy place. The food included interesting offerings. The place was popular to the point of being overcrowded and noisy. It was difficult to reach the bar containing tapas choices as so many people were congregated in the small area.

We came here on our second ever Pintxos experience and all in was fantastic. I think the key is to embrace the hustle and bustle these bars and just find your self a place to eat & drink. Once you work out how it all works the rest just flows. We found this one much less busy than some in... More

Very fresh and clean bar. Takes bookings but we stood at a table outside watching the world go by, which was fab. Good wine & good tapas, the service was excellent, so we can't complain.

This restaurant has an upper floor that serves drinks and delicious pintxos of high quality and then a restaurant on the lower floor. We visited the restaurant which offers a la carte and two fixed menus. We opted for the fixed menu for 25 euros, which includes a bottle of wine and water. Although very affordable all dishes were bland... More

We took a chance having a pintxo upstairs with two kids. Take my word for it: it is not a good idea! Too busy, too crowded, you don't get a proper idea of what you can give to the kids and the waiters are trying to serve you quickly. So if you are travelling with kids as we do, get... More

The sirloin steak with port wine sauce was to-die-for. One of the best steaks I've ever had. The waitresses weren't very friendly - it was late and there was some very awkward/rude customers in at the same time. This also affected the atmosphere for everyone else but could not fault the food we ordered.
