Booked this restaurant using the fork by TripAdvisor. However when we arrived there, the waiter told us there was no booking. However he was very nice and managed to have us a table since we were there. Not very busy even by 10.30pm. Decor is very old and so not expect anything charming. However service is attentive and friendly although... More

We had a great meal based on seafood and fish. The service was excellent and the dishes were really fine. The restaurant also offers a good wine selection that paired perfectly with the menu. The interior design recalls the traditional basque homes and the ambiental music showed great taste.

This restaurant offers serveral menus, including mineral water and one bottle of wine or cava. The menu was very tasty and the English speaking staff was very helpful. It's really a value for money meal, in case you choose a menu, at least two persons shall take it.

Restaurant is little bit strange place, you can not call it to be elegant. But food was good because as our dinner we had fish enough. That is good reason to go there and moreover our waiter was very helpful specially becaus we do know the local fishes and we do not lilke cod.

We had a very enjoyable meal yesterday at RIMBOMBIN, Bilbao's most famous seafood restaurant. As ever, the service was beyond reproach; rather is was magnificent from the moment of entering the bar and then the restaurant. Going back to 1931, this elegant restaurant maintains the highest level of quality food, especiallly seafood, and service. One can enjoy seafood or fish... More

This looked like a nice, traditional seafood restaurant. It looked pretty exciting from outside and there were living crabs and lobsters in a tank. There was a display of seafood that looked fresh and inviting. The waiter spoke excellent English, having spent some time in the UK. He was pleasant and helpful. There was an English menu but it was... More

Dear guests, we are so sorry that you didn´t enjoy our gastronomy. We will update our foreign language menus as soon as possible, though we use them as a very helpful way of understanding basque or spanish terms that can´t be translated, as "Txangurro", the spider crab you mentioned which should be delicate, not bland, and regarding the rice with... In town on business for three evenings, and our first taste of comida viscaiya was at Rimbombin. I have always admired service establishments, that, when faced with unexpected happenings, respond couteously, efficiently and professionally. This certainly was the case at Rimbombin. Our group far exceeded the size originally booked, with all the accompanying discomfort and unease. Not to worry, "enjoy... More

When we arrived we were surprised that they had the menu in English, and the waiter also spoke very well and explained us about any doubt we had. We began choosing a wonderful Albarino wine an some oysters fresh and delicious, we were told that they received them daily from Cambados. Then we followed with crayfish in special Rimbombin secret... More

Took my wife out for a seafood meal. We decided to try the Rimbonbin. One of the better seafood restaurants in Bilbao. Everything was absolutely excellent: the seafood, the wine selection and of course the service. The cost of the meal was expensive but Oh! What a meal? Probably one of the best seafood restaurants in town. Don't leave Bilbao... More
