Simply fantastic

The restaurant has no Michelin stars, but it should be based on the qualitybof the food. Undoubtley, a nice surprise. I can recommens the octopus and the tuna tataki..superb!

Excellent to all around great experience

We will remember this meal for some time. It had it all; great food, great service, great atmosphere. We raved about the salad dressing on the side of the fabulous pulpo dish and we were rewarded with a small sealed bag of dressing for each...of us to take with us home. We started with a delicious pisco sour, then the pulpo, scallops, risotto, and duck. Two bottles (5 of us!) the house Verdejo and we had no room for desert but they all looked great. I intend to tell everyone I know that might be visiting to eat here. Thank you for a wonderful experience.More

Perfecto

My wife and I wanted to celebrate a special anniversary in Bilbao on our way back from San Sebastian. We could not have chosen a better place! The service was superbly attentive and the (sharing) food was exquisite.

Wonderful service and delicious food.

We were travelling in Basque Country as a group of 8 friends and we had dinner at this wonderful restaurant on the last day of our trip. What a great way to end our holidays! We had a reservation and were greeted by chef Diego...who explained his conception of food sharing and all the dishes he created in such a passion and details that you want to try them all! The food arrived and you started to realize that it's Food Art with exceptional presentation and richness of details with berries, fruits, vegetables, chocolate, etc. decoration. Some dishes were classics with a modern twist, some were very original created by him. His recommendation on a number of portions for 8 people was very helpful. The team was very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting to enjoy your food. The deserts Forest and Bonfire were exceptional in presentation and very delicious also! Chef Diego and your team, thank you for the wonderful evening in Bilbao!More

Delicious experience

Everything was very delightful: the service was sublime, great advice on what to choose and the food was delicious. Don’t forget to choose a dessert as they are really surprising and absolutely delicious. Also great value for money.

Sensational

I came here during a 7 day holiday across the Basque Country. We ate in a lot of amazing restaurants including a couple of Michelin starred ones, but this was the highlight of the trip. The staff were excellent and the food was incredible. The...best tuna I've ever had and The Bosque dessert is out of this world. I really hope I can go back on day.More

stays impressive

In 2018 we visited this restaurant in Bilbao. In 2020 we visit this nice city again. We booked again at cascanueces. Food is impressive (try the octopus!), staff is friendly, bill is acceptable for that quality. And forest-dessert is very special. Limited tables due to...covid ... make reservation.More

Great food, welcoming staff, excellent wine

We decided to go eat here on a visit to Bilbao and were happy with the restaurant in a number of ways. First of all the restaurant is not packed with lots of noisy people as in most neighbouring restaurants. The service also was impeccable...with plenty assistance and interest. The wine selection is great as well. And the food was delicious! The only real drawback is that they do not have a babychair.More
