Great food! Everything we tried was delicious. Quirky, artsy vibe inside. Everything affordable. Best part was the attentive service, something we found hard to come across in Spain. Highly recommend!

Super friendly and helpful staff in this modern bar with pintxos and dining from a small menu . We had 3 of the five choices which were all really really good . Wine ( a white Rioja) was lovely and very well priced , atmosphere...was great with what I assume was mainly locals . Highly recommended.More
Lovely food (if a little pricey for what you get but this appears to be a common theme in Bilbao). Really friendly staff & good service. The food we had to share was delicious and I would definitely go back despite the price. The wine...was lovely and it had a great atmosphere.More
We visited Mr. Marvelous in the middle of the day for a few pintxos and a glass of wine. The guy behind the bar was very friendly and made a great wine recommendation (he listed to what I liked and recommended one of the lower...price wines - which was perfect!). It was lovely to watch the mix of young and old enjoy a snack and drink at Mr. Marvelous.More
Really nice beer on tap and very tasty pintxos. Staff really friendly and there was a lively atmosphere even at lunch. Pretty hipster so if you’re sporting a beard it’s even better.
We loved going here for breakfast. The service was extremely friendly, the orange juice cold and fresh and the tortilla was delicious. Highly recommend.
One right choice for some tasty pintxos and fantastic tasty beer in Bilbao...just 5 min walk from Guggenheim Museum. The local has a lively atmosphere and always crowded.
This place was buzzing the night we went and I'm not surprised. The waiter we had went out of his way to ensure we had a great meal. Possibly some of the best service we got this trip. The venue is obviously a big hit...with the locals too with a lot of them in that night. The food was a bit more adventurous than some of our meals in Spain. The chef was happy to throw in a few takes on other cuisines. We had a great bowl of curry as one of our dishes. Well worth a visit if you're in Bilbao.More
I have yet to meet a tortilla I didn't like theirs is pretty darned good. Located a few blocks away from the guggenheim, Mr. Marvelous blends traditional tapas with some asian fusion items.
Saw some decent reviews and were in the area so went in for dinner. Food seemed ok. My wife's ribs, in particular were very good, although she did think that my slow cooked cod dish was underdone. So it turned out ! I write this...at 6.00am having spent most of the night on the loo with food poisoning ! We definitely won't be going back for a return visit !More
Just arriving in Bilbao, this restaurant was at the bottom of our accomodation. We didn't regret it : lovely beers & wines, and a few tapas ! Maybe not exceptionnal but it worth trying !
accidentally walked into this small place. were glad to find tapas with rye bread-delicious ones with salmon and mustard. suppose other food also should be good there.
Really good vegetarian options on the menu, nice variation of food. Something for everyone. The portions are quie small but worth it´s price. Nice staff. Atmosphere is good and many locals go there.
Mr Marvelous might be a fantastic restaurant. An eclectic mix of used chairs and tables in a bright open space, with appropriate quotations written large on one wall, gives it a modern yet relaxed feel. The night I went there was a local, if older...clientele but the atmosphere was good. We arrived at 21.30 Wednesday night, that is 9.30pm, and were told that the kitchen was closed. We had to make do with the 'pinchos' that were available on the bar. They were excellent (typical jamon and tortilla but also ventresca, smoked salmon and tasty mini burgers) which only made me wonder what the main menu might have been like. The bill totalled less than €20 for the pinchos and 4 glasses of wine. I'd definitely go back, at an appropriate hour, and take time to enjoy the ambience and the menu.More
Nice decoration and good atmosphere in a very well located bar. The tortilla is really amazing. It's a great place to have something to drink and to eat after work but you can also book a table and have a very good dinner at a...very good price.More
