Gorgeous little Italian, we had Africa Pizza to share.. Delicious 😋 A very short walk from our apartment. Fab service, lucky 🍀 to get a table.

We were walking around downtown Bilbao, stopped for a drink at La Roca to hit trip advisor and try and figure out where we were going to eat dinner. We decided on Italian - pasta pizza charcuterie Casa Leotta was in close proximity, was heavily...reviewed and had a good rating. We didn’t make a reservation in advance, when we arrived around 20:30 there were not tables inside available but were offered a table outside in the terrace It was a little chilly out but we made due. As the other reviewers stated the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Restaurant has a nice curb appeal and was well decorated with roughly 10-15 tables. If you have your heart set on eating here I would reserve in advance. We stated with the Italian meat board which came with focaccia - roughly 8 varieties of meat were included along with olives and tomatoes and roquette. There was a good variety of spicy, smoky, salty. I would definitely order this platter again. It was a bit much for two people but good value. We really had our hearts set on pizza but the meat board filled us up - no room for pizza. Our son ordered the carbonara, it was a large pate. I obviously had to try it out. Pasta - carbonara is a tough one, we have eaten it in Italy on a number of occasions and our standards are quite high with this dish. We also have mastered it in our our kitchen so restaurants need to knock it out of the park for us to give it a good rating. Casa Leotta carbonara didn’t blow us away, it lacked flavor and tasted a little to eggy and salty for our liking. I definitely would not order it again. Bottle of wine - rioja was delicious and for 15€ come ´on you can’t go wrong We would definitely recommend this restaurant, unfortunately we didn’t make it to the pizza so can’t help you out in that department. Very nice and friendly people, situated close to the city center of Bilbao. They serve authentic and delicious Italian food. Quite cheap for the amount of food you get. Would definitely recommend coming here when you're in Bilbao.

Excellent place especially when you are tired with local food. Great mozzarella salad and pinsas. Very good selection of wines as well. Make sure to try Txakoli, Basque white wine.

My dad and I came here recently whilst visiting Bilbao and having read encouraging reviews we decided to go and we were absolutely blown away. We ordered a cheese board to share and then a pinsa each, and the waitress recommended that it might be...too much and asked if we'd like a smaller cheese board and she was completely correct! The cheese board was unbelievable, such delicious cheeses and fantastic focaccia breadsticks to go with it - we would highly recommend this! Both of us really loved our pinsas, but couldn't quite finish them but our waitress kindly put the rest in a box for us to takeaway that evening. We also had some delicious organic Spanish Rioja which was splendid. We finished off with coffee and a tiramisu, both delicious. We had such a fantastic time, the service and the food were faultless and I couldn't recommend it highly enough!More
