Good prices, good chance to sample local cuisine, good Gascona location. I've eaten here several times, it's a faithful option for lunch or dinner.

We had two bottles of Asturian cider and a plate of anchovies / sardines. I really liked the cider. It was light and easy to drink. The anchovie / sardines were delicious. The food seemed a little expensive here, but it was constantly packed. The waiters were quite nice and attended to us quickly. It´s not a bad choice to... More

I've eaten here a few times...with friends...with my boyfriend...with my parents. They do Asturian dishes well, and the price is reasonable. My parents don't speak spanish, but our waiter was very entertaining and helped us out! I think they had English menus too. With the atmosphere of a typical sidrería (a large one) combined with its Gascona location, it is... More

This bar/cider restaurant is located in the middle of the cider street of Oviedo, fun, noisy with good wholesome cooking and very pleasant service. Showed up without a reservation for lunch, the place was packed but we were quickly ushered to a table. Were a bit apprehensive when a pictured menu was presented but the food was surprisingly good, from... More

Great ambience. At night it has a lot of people. Great fish. Excellent shrimps. Good starters, great traditional cheese from Asturias. Overall a good traditional place that is not to expensive.

We went here the night upon arriving in Oviedo. There are several amazing choices on Calle Gascona to choose from, but what drew us in was the lavishly illustrated menu this place offered. If you are rusty on your Spanish this is a great place to start. The seafood was absolutely amazing [Broiled Seabass with Garlic], not to mention the... More

The products they have used apparently were of high quality, but the food was without any imagination. In addition the prices given in the menu did not include tax (which was the case in all other restaurants I have eaten in the area), so in fact the actual price was 10% higher. And in the bill there was an item,... More

This is a difficult place to review because our experience depended more on the ambiance than on the food. I will try to explain. We started by having cider outside, but told the waiter that we would be moving inside at 9PM to have dinner. When we did, they tried at first to seat us downstairs instead of on the... More

We chose this restaurant's Menu del Dia. After being presented with a full bottle of theie house Campa Bajo house red and a large basket of rustic bread, we began with a small bowl of Cream of Legume, then a huge bowl of Broad Beans and Clams, then Hake steak with potatoes in cider, followed by a bowl of rice...
