The food wasn’t terrible but overpriced for what it was. However, the service was atrocious. We weren’t expecting silver service by any means but the waiter made us feel like we were completely unwelcome despite all our best efforts to use our limited Spanish. We...More

Traditional old school tapas bar worth a visit, food doesn't look fancy like some more modern ones however tastes great.

Nice setting, photo worthy. The staff seem to look down on tourists, but that's probably the same gene as the Parisian Garcons, all looking bored with your request. For the Ambiance: yes. For the tapas; we have had much better at other bars

Several violations of my principles: try not to go the same place twice when on holiday. First violation: it was so good I couldn't wait to get back. Second violation, don't rave about a place because if everyone goes, there may not be a place...More

This is a must do in Sevilla since it's a bar that dates back to the 1670s! We had our first meal of the trip here. It was very crowded, so make sure you have reservations. I had the Iberian tenderloin and my husband had...More

A bar that dates back to 1670. We popped in for pre dinner glasses of wine. Leaned against the bar like the locals. Atmospheric place to share a glass or two.

The food was good I can say but the staff was totally unpolite and rude. Specially our waiter was totally lost in his world. Noone in there can speak English. They confused our order and in the end we paid 180 euro for a launch...More

Fantastic ambience in the oldest tapas bar of Sevilla. They write your bill on the table with old - fashion chalk. The staff is very friendly and are all seniors. Another guy is slicing jamon behind the bar with preciseness of a doctor.

Located on the Calle Gerona, El Rinconcillo has been serving up Spanish cuisine in Seville since 1760. This historic restaurant boasts a rustic-chic dining room that is dressed up in cosmopolitan clothes. With understated whitewashed brick walls, beamed ceilings, chandeliers and fresh flower arrangements, El Rinconcillo attracts everybody from local celebrities to families who come to enjoy traditional tapas and Sunday meals, and the mosaic-tiled bar with wine barrel tables is perfect for pre-dinner drinks and mid-afternoon glasses of wine. The menu is an eclectic collection of tapas dishes, stews, seafood, meat and sweet flans for dessert, and you couldnt find a more quintessentially Spanish eatery in Seville if you tried.
