Rhis is a very lay back place. You buy your fried food buy weight not by plate. It is afordable and fast. Very convinient for eating ' on the go' or you could seat down and eat.

Maybe it was bad timing at Saturday afternoon but unfortunately we received bad, even hostile service (and yes I speak fluent Spanish so this wasn't about language barriers) and felt very un-welcome. We had several different seafood options and the food had obviously been waiting in the stall quite long. Way over-priced, even though the place looks very cute with... More

We visited first to get a fish takeaway for supper and then went back the following morning for churros and chocolate. This isn't your classic fish and chip shop as we know these in the UK but we really enjoyed the cod. We were glad we could decide our own portion and just let the lady know how many pieces... More

Great for a takeaway fried, if you prefer eating there the service was a little bad, there's the waiter of the nearest restaurant that came to take the order.. So strange! The food, instead, was special!!

We live here and we've been a couple of times. This time unfortunately the place has let us down, which is a real shame cos the first time we came was good. The chipirones (baby squid) were tasteless and rubbery, the Chocos (squid) had two huge things in them which were inedible, so we complained and they told us they... More

The fried fish served is fresh, tasty and good value. There is tables outside and you can order a drink from waiters from the next door restaurant while you enjoy your fish. It gets very busy and is used by a lot of the locals which is always a good sign.

The first time I went here, they wouldn't serve me because, clearly, I'm American. But I speak Spanish. I waited five minutes (no other customers, while I was ignored), and then I left. I decided to give them another try. I asked clearly for a specific amount of chipirones and merluza. She threw in some cheap squid and doubled the... More

The continuous line outside the Puerta de la Carne says it all, the fried fish served is fresh and especially good value. Although there are a few tables outside, it is still more like a shop than a restaurant. Excellent selection of deep fried seafood available, including cod, hake, octopus, squid, prawns and even chicken for poultry eaters. Excellent for... More
