Not nice at all - sorry Alcaiza. Service extremely slow - they weren't even busy. 'Scrambled mushrooms' = scrambled eggs with few mushrooms thrown in. Zucchini thing = sloppy mess Tuna tapas = overcooked tasteless affair Potato bravas - under cooked spud with ghastly orange gooey sauce Cheese risotto= cheesy rice pudding Plate of cheese - what it says on... I have in the past eaten here, and it was always so lukewarm I never really felt so compelled to write one way or the other, plus the waiters had been rude in the past. This time, however, bar a VERY dirty toilet which, in fairness, would in all probability have been soiled by the customers rather than the staff... More

Great place to sit and watch Sevillans and tourists! Buzzy place with several bars, one of them the Alcaiza, which turned out to be one of the best finds during our 2 weeks Spain tour! Great tapas 'with a twist' at a very reasonable price and especially great if you get tired of the 'regular' Spanish food. We had the... More

Ugh. This was described on various blogs as “tapas with a twist” but I’m not sure the authors’ “twist” was anything I’d want to eat again. A lot of restaurants are only open for Sunday lunch, so we tried to do some research on where would be open on Sunday that had some veggie options. This came up with decent... More

I had already eaten lunch, but I ended up having a sangria, a glass of vine, a small beer - and two tapas dishes! I didn't want to leave. I got good recommendations and had something with cheese and nuts and another with fresh tuna. Great value for money as well!

Had drinks and light tapas here several times during our stay. The food is good, there's always an interesting crowd, and the staff are very friendly and helpful!

Had the set lunch - three tapas for 8.5 euros I think. The tapas were some of the best I had in Seville.

Good food with decent service with slightlely above averege prices. But in a great area to get drinks with friends thursday to sunday. Loads of people having drinks and talking all around the palaza. If it is very busy, just enjoy the drink and don't worry about the food, it will get to you in time.

I make it a point not to read other reviews in advance of posting mine own unless of course I read reviews in advance of attending. We had arrive in Seville at 9:30PM on a Friday and this was the first place we stopped at. We had three small Tapas plates (ordered a fourth but they forgot to serve it).... More
