They try very hard to present their food in the way of almost a one Michelin star restaurant. The service was good, food almost excellent, except I thought my suckling pig was way too salty. The desert was also just a bit lacking. So if you don't have Michelin star expectation, you will be very happy with the food.

Treat yourself to a delicious meal at this classy restaurant. The restaurant is very unusual, with an amazing high ceiling and lined with glass fronted wooden cupboards, Modern windows look out over the cloister. The food is served beautifully in small portions, but you will not be hungry when you leave. This is real fine dining and every dish is... More

My partner and I dined here several nights ago. The food presentation was amazing and the taste delicious. This restaurant is located on a courtyard inside the AC Palacio Santa Paula...a Marriott hotel. It was raining the evening we dined and to be honest, we didn't expect a lot. We were so pleasantly surprised by the fantastic food quality and... More

In a lovely hotel and off an amazing courtyard but too quiet and a bit fussy. Both pork cheeks and suckling pig too salty. Sweetbreads delicious

The best thing to say about the restaurant is the surroundings. We were there in the evening and sat in a private room with a view over the old courtyard of the monastery. Beautiful light settings. The food was very simple, good taste for sure, but to be served a very large piece of meet with no extras is simply... More

We don't normally eat in hotel restaurants when there are an absolute abundance of fantastic places to search out and taste sensations to experience however I am so glad that we did on this occasion. We were originally trying for the Sunday night however it was fully booked so settled for Monday (a lot of restaurants shut on a Monday).... More

We recently celebrated my wife's birthday with another couple in Granada at this beautiful restaurant. FULL DISCLOSURE: we were supposed to celebrate the occasion elsewhere but that restaurant wasn't open on Sundays and Mondays so we decided to try El Claustro instead, having read some good reviews. Am I glad that we ended up here. Not only is the setting... More

I decided to go out for a nice lunch after having a great morning stroll through Alhambra. I did not make any reservation, although this is recommended. The setting is on a moorish house, turned into a convent and nowadays a 5 star hotel. I decided to go for the paired "Granada Menu". From the "amuse bouche", I could confirm... More

We had the classic menu for lunch and it was superb! The amuse bouche was quite flavorful and testified to the excellent meal that followed. Service was impeccable and not intrusive. Well worth it!

The setting is blissfully peaceful in an old cloister. We went with 2 toddlers who were very happy with the fountain and surrounds. The middle 65 euro, menu was delicious and even better when we realised it came with matching wines, which were all excellent. The only disappointing course was the Rouget Barbet, a bit dry, everything else was innovative and... More
