Considering the reviews we felt let down. The service was so so and while the quality of the food was fine the presentation was poor. The staff seemed more interested in watching tv than serving.

Not many places open in Granada on a Sunday evening, especially on St George's Day! Those that were open were mostly full of football spectators. La Posada del Deunde had very friendly and welcoming staff. The croquettes and "berrenjenas con miel" were good! They followed up with complimentary shots for us and all around ,we had a lovely evening.

On a Sunday evening my husband, college aged daughter and I found this gem around the corner and down an alley from The Hotel Carmen. Sunday nights are slow in Spain. And this afforded us ample opportunity to engage with the staff. Our waiter, calling himself Danny DiVito, made our entire night memorable! Our daughter was doing the ordering in... More

I could see his eyes glint as he all but rubbed his hands together when he announced the bill for two very mundane glasses of vino tinto. . I live in Seville and am familiar with Granada but we chose this place this particular night because it was a cold night, was handy for a nightcap near our hotel, and... More

We were on a bus tour and there was a mutli-course meal at La Posada del Duende included for our group. We were intrigued by the stewed ox tail that was on the menu, so made sure that we ordered that. We also had many courses of other local foods delivered to our table. We weren't able to finish everything... More

Went here with a group of friends. We all had the regular dinner menu. Don't eat lunch...you will have much good food to eat. Some of us had the lamb, others had the ox tail dinner and some had the payella. All was excellent...almost too much food. The starters included sauted mushrooms and onions, spanish croquettas, and more. You will... More

Very good dinner mid week at 2030 hrs (November): we were the only diners. There were some Spaniards having tapas in the bar. We were well received by Manolo, the owner, and waiter service good. Jamon iberico: an excellent starter and quite sufficient to order one portion for 2 people (which is quite normal in Spain); escalope beautifully tender. Price... More

My partner and I had our first meal in Granada here and had beer and tapas later on in the week. It was incredibly welcoming, and had great decor with nearly ever part of the walls covered in the theme of the bull. There were a lot of locals eating here which is always a good sign so we decided... More
