Hidden in a small jetty Puerto Cabopino. Fantastic view to the jetty. We stumbled into this place by pure chance but were we in for a pleasant surprise. Fantastic food. Not cheap but not over expensive either, definitely worth a visit. Really. This is simply...a must visit. Slightly difficult to find but use Google map.More

This restaurant displays a banner outside their restaurant stating "30th anniversary. 50% of food from 12pm". I arrived with my husband and infant daughter at 12.30pm to be informed in a very abrupt manner that the offer was no longer available on the breakfast which...was still being served. We had only eaten breakfast here a couple days earlier, at the same time of day, and the discount had been applied with no mention then of any restrictions. The waiter said that the advertised banner had only been established within the past 24 hours which is not the truth as it has been on display for many weeks. Having been a regular customer we will be going elsewhere for our breakfast and evening mealsMore

We visited on Monday and had breakfast and was pleasantly surprised to receive 50% discount on the food items. Returned today to be told that the discount does not apply to breakfast so we decided to leave only to have the bar manager making loud...comments to us in front of other customers that we only went there to eat as there was a discount on (we have been going to Albert's for 20 years). So we will give this place a miss from now on.More

When visiting Estepona once a year it is compulsory to go to Albert´s for breakfast This time we went at a time when for brunch so some could have breakfast and others a main meal. We do enjoy going there but I have to say...its quite expensive. The prices seem to have gone up and coupled with the charging to park in the port area it makes it a dear do. Especially for 5 people. But we found that there was an offer on of 50% discount on all food items off the menu so that was good. The assistant manager is very nice and friendly and the service was good. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable. Recommended.More

Was there yesterday for Sunday lunch with three other friends. Food was good, Staff were nice but we didn’t have a nice time because the live music was so loud that all way through lunch we couldn’t have a conversation and talk to each other....One of my friends got headache from the very loud singer and had to take a little walk ! The room is far too small for loud live singing specially when it is just lunch time and people trying to have a nice Sunday lunch with family and friends and a good conversation, it’s not drinking at night and dancing ! We spent 35 euro each for Sunday roast.More

.... following on from my last review posted recently... Sunday lunch has now changed back to waiter service and is better than ever!! We’ve just enjoyed a fabulous lunch with great piano accompaniment, amazing food, superb views and service, what better way to spend a...Sunday?! Well done Alberts, you are back and better than ever! For anyone looking for a great Sunday lunch venue then look no further, it really is first class. The quality of the meat is excellent and cooked to your liking and the portion sizes are very generous! We are so pleased to see it back on top again. Really delicious and a delight to dine there. Starting at €17.95 for one course it’s great value for money too. We will be back!More

We frequent Alberts many times during the year, mostly for their fantastic Sunday Lunch experience with accompanying live music. Their motto is ‘Best roast on the coast’ and it certainly is.... or was! Unfortunately the powers that be at the H/O of Metro group, who...own Alberts, along with a number of other restaurants, have decided to turn the Sunday Lunch into a ‘free for all eat as much as you can’ carvery, the type you get in a cheap pub in the UK!! What an absolute shame. They’ve destroyed it. We queued up like we were at a college or hospital canteen to collect our food, and as we had less able bodied people with us we had to get their order too. This meant a long drawn out process and eating at different times. The vegetables were delivered to the table. Who ever dreamt this idea up has made a huge mistake, and basically devastated the wonderful Sunday lunch ambiance. Give yourself a pat on the back for the wonderful innovation!! Suffice to say we left utterly disappointed and have decided we will not be back again due to the new format. We will go to the Beach House in Elviria in future, there you have the pleasure of not having to carry your own meal to the table. In closing we would like to thank Olivio and his great team for all the past wonderful lunches and service, sorry we won’t be returning as it now is, we are all so sad this has happened. Thanks again.More

Went to Albert’s for dinner having looked it up beforehand with good ratings. I really wanted to like the place - it looks smart, the menu options looks nice and the staff are friendly but unfortunately left my partner and I very disappointed. We ordered...scallops, salt and pepper squid and the piri-piri chicken burger and all three dishes were really, really bad. Scallops came undercooked and cold with a rhubarb pure that didn’t pair well at all with the scallop. The squid was not fried crispy and had a odd cinnamon flavor coming through that was unpleasant. The chicken burger was recommended by the staff and were supposed to be spicy but had no flavor at all, cold in the center and of poor quality. My partner and I are normally not fussy eaters but we didn’t manage to finish the food. In retrospective we should have sent all the food back and given our thoughts to the staff in order for them to improve. Instead we payed the rather pricy bill (chicken was around €16 and scallops €15) and left feeling ill and in bad sprits. Would not recommend at all unfortunately.More
