Absolute excellent and original. Great food at a good price with excellent surprising wine pairing and good friendly service. This place absolutely deserves it's Michelin Star. A great diner!

Messina is alway's on our must go to restaurants when we visit Marbella. It's Michelin Star was totally appropriate and long overdue. The cuisine is totally creative and presented with great passion. The stall are extremely well informed and add immeasurably to the experience with their enthusiasm and personality. An outstanding venue for a special occasion.

Back again to the Messina after a gap, first time since they got the Michelin star. We had the full tasting menu -- absolutely superb, could not fault anything. Good to see they haven't changed anything inside and the prices haven't rocketed on the back of the star, Lovely staff as always, so friendly. Best food and best value in... More

Have been going to this restaurant for year and alway thought it deserved a Michelin Star , finally they got it some three years ago. Family owned , the chef Mauricio is an artist in the kitchen an his wife Pia has mastered the art of service and high performance on the restaurant side , great hostess. Fabulous food.

The nicest service you ever can dream to have. And this since many years. A creative and spectacular food choice qith top products cooked at their perfection. Comfortable tables with enough space between them. The Michelin star should have come before, as the quality was top all these last years. Since the star is there, prices have not increased which... My husband and I ate here years ago and have been looking forward for ages to return which we did last weekend for our end of year celebration. The restaurant was empty and not welcoming at all on our arrival and to be honest, the place could do with a make-over - chairs are threadbare, curtains looked like they needed... More

We had a tasting menue, and that was no good. No taste, no colour, no vegetables, poor presented. Out of 14 dishes, one was meat. Bones in two fish dishes. The food on the plane back home tasted better.

We can definitely recommend this one star guide Michelin restaurant. Nice wine list. Lovely service from all the staff. Take their tasting menu with wine pairing. A lot of surprises.

We had the taster menu, which was very very disappointing It was hardly food only somebody experimenting with the ingredients, it was almost inedible. We could not believe it was a Michelin star restaurant. We had one bottle of house wine, two bottles of water, our bill was 379 euros for four people. This meal was a celebration for a... More
