Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Tucked away down a side passageway is this great place for breakfast. Get there early - you won't be sorry!

We came across the restaurant looking for somewhere for lunch on our last day. The menu is short but contains some wonderful items. The tortilla, chorizo, Morocco chicken and tomato with tuna were exceptional and very reasonably priced with house wine €14

Very friendly staff and delicious food! We aren’t locals but the waitress ensured that we fully understood what we could order and explained everything in detail. The food was 10/10 and the prices are more than fair. Highly recommend.

A must visit , small traditional tapas bar. Excellent service , had to queue but it’s a popular place to eat so that was nothing . Breakfast was simple, home made Pates served in and egg box with a large piece and a half of...toast .we found the presentation quirky and charming. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting Malaga.More

Saw reviews of this place as something traditional and typical for the area of Malaga which enticed me to visit! Asked for the meat traditional breakfast (desayuno) and coffee. Was served a section of 4 savoury dips/spreads, and 2 sweet ones with a single grape,...all served in an egg carton casing. The 4 savoury dips were, chorizo dip, a fish dip, a pork with lard dip, and freshly garlic and tomato sauce. This was given with a single slice of large white toast that you can ask for more if you need to. A coffee, pineapple juice, and two breakfasts came out to 7.50€. Very affordable, filling, and tasty! Breakfast finishes at 12:00 so be sure to get there before then. All the other bigger dishes you see in the photos are from lunch!More

If you're looking for the real deal on Málaga produce and tradition, then this is the place to be for breakfast. Home made jams, pates and preserves. Wonderful bread and strong coffee. It doesn't get better. A must while in Málaga.

+Authentic local Malagan restaurant in the old town + They respect their heritage and serve old school Malagan dishes like arabic style snails(eventhough for me the broth of the snails was too harsh/bitter tasting). + Nice antique decor! + It was nice and cool inside...the restaurant (in March) due to the thick stone walls. The place reminds of a cave :) + Good pulpo a la gallega!More

This is a fantastic place to have an authentic breakfast. Tasty and fresh. Dry good coffee too, and at the amazing price of 2euros70? We love the space the people and the atmosphere. When we visit Malaga we always visit. And always love it. There...are now several tables outside, which is great because it’s always so busy. The shop seems to have a larger choice of bits too. So win win.More

Hidden place where to have a breakfast with toast and pates is a must. Especially 'zurrapa' pate is glorious, also you can buy pots and containers with these pates to takeaway. Quite authentic and very friendly people managing the place.

If it is the Malaga Ibis Centro it is no more than a 8-10 minute walk - use Google maps to plot a route for you - restaurant is across the dry (usually) river bed from the hotel.
