If there is a line waiting, it must be good! And it is! Great atmosphere, lovely tapas, cheap, fast, good wines and friendly staff. Screaming busy, but ver well managed. One of The better ones in Malaga.

Not a relaxing evening. Waiters are running around and are too busy to help or advise you on the menu.Food arrives randomly and was not particularly good. Were given a table by the toilet door but did manage to move. The tables are cleaned in...between customers with bleach and the smell is overpoweringMore

Urgh. That describes the restaurant. HIGHLY OVERRATED. Rude waiters, food is terrible and tasteless. We get it’s tapas but the portion sizes are RIDICULOUS. Their too small Don’t waste your money here

After a rainy walk around Malaga we came across Casa Lola and were very happy to do so! A typically Spanish restaurant with friendly staff and very good food. There’s a lot of variety and something for everyone!

This restaurant was a massive let down. After being served the wrong food on multiple occasions the dishes were cold and chewy. The calamari was definitely not fresh. And the waiting staff did not give us the option of having a second drink. I definitely...got the vibe of “eat your food and f*ck off”. I would not be going here again, lots of much better fresher and more friendly restaurants within 20 meters of this place.More

Been meaning to post this for a couple of weeks. We took some visiting family to Casa Lola - it used to be a firm favourite of ours - but this time it was bad bad bad and they’ve now lost some loyal customers. The...staff were rude - being fluent it’s something we’ve never experienced before but maybe it was due to our very obvious non Spanish guests that we were treated differently - they were horrible and unfriendly and it was embarrassing. Now to our order….. basically what they could half they have - my wine was half a normal serving, the croquettes, the ham, the cheese, the Russian salad etc etc if they could get away with it then they’ve done it! So the menu is the same and the same price but for example it’s now 2 (yea 2!) croquettes for 3.90€. The queues are still there as the word isn't fully out yet but I wonder for how much longer....a huge shame.More

What a terrible place !! The staff has no hospitality skills whatsoever. The food VERY VERY CHEAP and extremely poor quality. Extremely basic, tasteless, odourless food . I can’t believe the reviews where did these came from . Honestly won’t even feed it to slaves...in old ages . Have some self respect and respect to you palate and taste buds and go somewhere else !!More

We visited here after it had been recommended to us by a family member and we weren’t disappointed. We had to queue for probably about an hour to get in but we were in no rush and it’s a sign of how popular it is...with the locals also. The selection and standard of tapas was great and very reasonably priced. It’s a very busy tapas bar with fast paced service and atmosphere. Definitely recommend if you are in Malaga old townMore

It was OK, but that’s just it. It was ok. Nothing special. I had seen lots of rave reviews so thought I’d seek it out. This was a Monday night in April and the queue outside was already lengthy at 8:30pm. Must be fantastic, I...thought, so joined the queue. After 10 mins, we found out that you had to give your name to the guy on the door, so we were effectively at the back of the queue again. Eventually got in and everything was fine. Good table. Good food. But that was it. It wasn’t spectacular and lots of other tapas restaurants nearby served food that was just as good and you didn’t need to wait in line just to get inside. Average at best. Can’t see what all the fuss is about.More

I was delighted to find a seat after the exhausting visit to the alcazaba with my family. There are 2 outlets on both the sides in the old town and the reservation guys are very efficient in getting you the table as soon as possible....I was in no mood to sit outdoors and was very lucky to be offered a table inside overlooking the street. The place was packed with tourists but the service was very efficient and well coordinated. I loved all the dishes and especially ' Cantinflas'- beef taco with chipotle sauce with a lovely glass of Rioja. I relished the Pedro Xieminez to finish my meal. It was a great experience of Spanish tapas and wine.More

We ate in all three restaurants whilst in malaga, the quality of food was great and if you want a decent Spanish tapas experience at the right price I would head to any one of them. They do get especially busy so depending on how...busy they are you may have to wait to get in a while...More
