This vegetarian restaurant is close to the Alcazaba, on a side street off the main pedestrian area. Plenty of seating inside and out. Our dishes came with ‘garnishes’ which turned out to be for one of us noodles, steamed mixed veg and lettuce salad, and the other beetroot salad, rice and tortilla – almost like tapas. All very tasty. The... More

Having a family dinner, we choose this place because there are several vegans in the family. Obviously we picked the right place; everyone was satisfied and full after dinner. More options for vegetarians than vegans, but still quite a selection, and very nice food indeed.

Close to the Alcazaba, the Roman Theatre and the Iglesia de Santiago, this small restaurant tucked away in a side street (calle Pozo del Rey), is well worth a visit. Great food, especially if you are vegetarian.

Looked for a place where my family could get vegetables and salad as there is lots of meat and seafood served in Spain. This hit the spot! Get the salad with guacamole on top for sure. Hummus was a highlight. Friendly staff and nice outdoor seating

I went to this restaurant twice and was more than pleased each time I went. For 10 euros, I was able to have a full, fresh three course meal! Being that I am vegetarian, it's hard enough to find vegetarian restaurants, but to find one and enjoy it to the level I did was such a joy to experience. Their... More

Great to find a vegetarian menu that also caters for gluten free. We had been walking for hours & all very hungry. There was a choice of paella or houmous starter which were gf, l ordered rice noodles with 3 sides as a main, my son ordered a starter & a main also, 'meatballs' & seitain burgers. The waiter said... We were excited to find El Vegetariano de la Alcazabilla in Málaga, longing for a proper veggie food, and their stylish exterior on the edge of city peatonal zone looked very promising. However, the most food they have on offer are pre-prepaired meals such as hamburgers, empanadas, croquettes etc. You will barely find there anything fresh apart from the salads,... More

Fab interior, delicious food, lovely staff. Definitely go for vegetarian paella. The only barrier is the language. Staff understands only spanish. But you can make your way to identify the best food for you as the menu is in english as well. A must must must visit if you are in malaga.

This is a sweet little restaurant in a lovely location near to the Teatro Romano. Picture perfect terrace with lights strung about. We had not been here for four years and the place had not changed at all, in a good way! The healthy menu of vegetarian croquettes, empanaditas and salads were all unchanged which means as good as ever.... More
