We did try to go Aranda earlier but there was lot of people waiting so we passed that time. We made a new visit in sunday evening and there was a some free tables. We took churros and hot chocolate and the churros were fantastic.

Excellent. We had breakfast here each day of our long weekend on the recommendation of a local. It was delicious and quick great coffee too! Waiters were cheery and helpful. Couldn't have churro every morning but the toast and tomato looked good too.

On our way back to our apartment we saw that this place was filled to the brim by locals. That's always a good sign so we managed to find a table. Basically we found out the thing here was churros and hot chocolate. Churros is most often dough that is a mixture of flour, water and salt. They are fried... More

If you want an experience, then you should try the chocolate and churros here. Service is almost immediate as the chocolate is always ready and the cups and saucers are lined up ready. We were in an apartment opposite this cafe and it was always full.

We stopped at this bustling place for churros and coffee. The chocolate looked good too although we refrained. Whilst it is a busy and vibrant place, it is truly an example of the laid back Spanish way of life.

This place was highly recommended, and rightly so! The churros and chocolate are very good, IF you can find a seat as it is very popular. The main one is down by the Atarazanas Market on Herrería del Rey but there is another one on Calle Santos so you do have a choice.

It's an old fashion, very popular way to have "Churros y chocolate" in Spain. It's the typical tea time for the people that comes from the outskirts of the city or nearby villages. You may enjoy it the local way, no hurry, get a seat, if possible, and let yourself get served by the white suit waiters a good cup... More

We stopped by for having some churros with hot chocolate. It was very chaotic and noisy but it was great fun. The churros were so good. The service was very quick. Must be tried definitely.
