You've either got a soft spot for places like El Chinitas or you don't. In its heyday, and there are many awards on their walls to prove it, this was one of the finest eateries in Malaga. Now it has a worn glamour, reminiscent of Spanish or Mexican haunts in Hollywood where stars from the black and white movies popped... More

Have visited here a few times over the years, and once again had an excellent meal. Friendly attentive staff, this evening watched over by the old Patron in person, with his friend, both of whom star in the photos / paintings on the walls. This is quite an institution in Málaga, but the food continues to be a high standard.... More

Had a fantastic group dinner in a private room upstairs - what I really liked was that I still felt that I was getting personal attention & being treated as an individual by the wait staff. The meals were superb - nothing at fault! Really great, cheerful and friendly service. I didn't feel like a tourist, I felt like a... More

Just off the main drag, sit inside, the paintings of the Matadors and the owner are interesting. The seafood paella takes almost half an hour but it is well worth the wait. Service is a xcellent with a free starter. Loved the baked apples. An excellen place for a lazy lunch whilst shopping

We sat outside both nights we were here. Food is very good and the waitress is charming. Street is very busy so you get a free show with your food. Some days there is a special "with a spoon" dish which was very good when we were there.

We liked it here. Our meal was an outdoor lunch. Good service, welltasting food (we had Sole Picasso-style) and wine. A restful place in an alley close to the big shopping street.

This was a wonderful lunch experience. An excellent selection of beautifully prepared tapas, accompanied by some entertaining wines. The service and presentation was first class and completed by the bill which was excellent value for money. Shame it will be a year before a return pilgrimage!

Traditional Spanish place where we had gorgeous tapas, tortilla de camerones, ox tail (an Andalucian speciality) and fine wines. The staff were polite and attentive. And a bit old school, all smart in ties, presided over by the larger than life maitre d. Would return in a shot! Lovely.

Took a table for a pleasant outdoor dining. The fried boquerones, the baby squid were simply delicious. And all at very reasonable prices!

We dined outdoor and people watched the bar across the alley. The first course is a rolled boqueronies (fresh anchovies) salad. For the first time in his life CJ enjoys anchovies; albeit fried. The next course is a foie gras in a Pedro Ximenez sherry reduction and mango strawberry sauce. Hard to believe one can improve on foie gras.Next up... More
