Read no further if you are a vegetarian or indeed, if you do not like pork! This traditional style restaurant has a menu based almost exclusively on the wonderful Iberian pig products from the northern mountain ranges of the province. As well as delicious sausages, hams and stews, look out for a few dishes which at first sight many Brits... More

We have had lunch in Cumbres Mayores (barra zone) and it has been delicious and good priced. We specialy recommend "Carrillada Iberica al meson" and "Presa Iberica al 5o aniversario, el pelotazo".

Great place to have a bite, love the tapas! It's a great place to have some typical Spanish tapas, the service is good and fast and up till now I never had a problem of any kind. I would definitely come back again. The only thing is that you really have to like dishes that include meat. I wouldn't go... More

This place was recommended by the locally-resident receptionist in the apartments we were staying in, and she was dead right. We just perched at the bar and ate tapas-style, and were delighted with everything we ordered. Kidneys in sherry (obviously!), slightly spicy cold cooked liver (which sounds disgusting but was terrific), some excellent croquetas, decent house wine and instant professional... More

I don't know the name of the dish, but ask for what they do best. They'll bring out what I believe is beef cheeks and potatoes with a sauce. Reminded me a bit of pot roast, but better. I was told that this restaurant specializes in beef and ham, so skip the seafood. We tried the cazon and while it... More

We enjoyed a round of Tapas here the other day. The special tapa of the house was melt in your mouth beef and potatoes. Very good. But what really stood out to us where how delicious the olives they serve are. A little sweet a little salty, and so flavorful that even my husband who doesn't like olives wanted to... More

Everything here is carried off professionally and in a friendly yet formal restaurant manner. The restaurant is traditional, and as the evening progresses, the locals take over. I had a wonderful wild boa entrecote with chorizo, and a flan to finish. house wine was excellent. Prices are good for what is on offer. 10 out of 10 for this one.... More

Love the place. Great grilled pork...the caradilla (pork cheek) de Cerdo is excellent, the croquettes, pattatas, ....etc The place is always full. Get there abt. 8:45pm for tapas. You can make dinner reservations. A cosy establishment. Definitely a must, when in Cadiz!

We have had many business dinners in this place - the restaurant has its Spanish charm but in the same time its offers privacy (in case you have something important to discuss for example). The food was good but I believe the cooks should show have been more inventive when creating the menu. I would recommend the selection of cheeses,... More

Some friends from Chipiona took us to this place. We had a great time enjoying the tapas, beer, conversation and the ambiance of the establishment.
