My boyfriend and I stumbled into Paseo Iberico on a day trip to Cordoba for a quick lunch. Our quick lunch turned into the 2.5 hour highlight of our ten days in Spain. Argimiro was the most kind, welcoming host and provided incredible food cooked...in a small kitchen right behind the bar. We had incredible fresh mushrooms, cheese, tomatoes, meat and complimentary after lunch drinks!More

Wish we would’ve stumbled upon this place sooner. Food was delicious, we had the ham and cheese platter, fried eggplant, lamb chops and cordoban pie— all of it was high quality, locally sourced and had an irreplaceable homemade taste to it. The owner couldn’t have...been nicer, one of the friendliest people we’ve come across. Highly recommended.More

I was in Granada and Cordoba for a week and this was one the highlights of the trip. You are served homestyle food with a lot of love and pride from the owner. I ordered the salmorejo con jamon and presa iberica (I wanted to...order the rabo de toro but he insisted I get this pork dish). Even before I got the salmorejo, he gave me a complementary small plate of cheese and sausage to eat with the tino con limon that I was having. The salmorejo and secreto iberico were tasty and were accompanied by packaged bread. I was at Regadera the day before which served plates that were more refined and complex but I enjoyed the experience at El Paseo Iberico a lot more because of the hospitality and the authenticness of the food prepared by a Cordoban using his family recipes. At the end of the meal, he left me a short glass and an entire free bottle of Pedro Ximenez (he said to me this is how Cordobans finish this meal). I have been living in Spain for two years. This is one of my top food experiences. Central Cordoba, especially around the Mezquita-Cathedral, is full of tourist traps. This is not one of them. If you want to savor the local cuisine that is presented with genuine warmth at a reasonable price, then this is a top option.More

My Spanish partner and I walked into this authentic restaurant after spending a few hours at the Mosque. All we can say is WOW! Top quality ingredients are best cooked simply. The owner of the restaurant was attentive, and gave us good recommendations on what...to order. We had the fresh mushrooms on display, as well as the assortment of charcuterie to start. We ordered pork medallions as a main and the owner was kind to offer us a complimentary plate of delicious tomatoes in olive oil and salt. The owner didn't stop there, with giving us plates on the house. He gave us more chorizo to try after we told him how impressed we were with the food. We can't recommend this place enough!More

We came here after dinner around 11, ordered a few tapas and drinks which were both fantastic. The owner took it upon himself to give us a culinary tour of Cordoba continuing to feed us until well after 1am. The jamon was some of the...best we had in Spain and the owner's pride in his restaurant and Spain was infectious. An overall wonderful experience.More

Had dinner here this week, i had 4 types of tapas.. didn’t like any of them. Jamon and cheese (manchego) were very dry, the salmenjero has a weird taste. There are far better places for tapas in the city
