A local bar to which a friend directed us, otherwise we would not have found it. Friendly staff, decent food and not at all expensive.

As part of a tour in Spain we were led to this charming and authentic tavern for a short visit. There was outdoor seating, however the inside was most interesting with a history of bullfighters and celebrities that have eaten there. Many of the wine barrels were autographed by actors, artists and writers. There were also numerous pictures of celebrities... More

Outstanding tapas near the city center. We tried the tomato with tuna ("ventresca"), the "venado en salsa" and the ibericos (cheese and ham). Everything was FANTASTIC! Authentic and very tasty Andalusian tapas in a traditional "taberna". Prices are definitely not cheap in comparison with average prices for tapas in Cordoba. But definitely you pay for quality! Absolutely recommended!

The food is of a good quality. It is not a sophisticated kitchen but onest flavours known for a long time. The sherry is served from a bottle without a label but tasts very good! That is the style. Atmosphere of many years ago including pictures on the wall of bull fighters of 75 years ago. Walk into the small... More

Love the ambience of the restaurant, it's a great place to eat, Córdoba is small but filled with restaurants, one good restaurant is this one. Definite recommend it.

Away from the tourist traps in the old city center you can have some wonderful Raciones amid the wine barrels and the locals who enjoy their food and drinks.

What a find! Fantastic food and the ham was incredible (try cold tomato soup)! I was stuffed but ordered it after having the free tapas. Also given some free sweets to try for free at the end. Very happy to have gone, good service and was the highlight of a long day of sight seeing.

Great food and good value. We were staying at Balcon de Cordoba and chose not to go with their recommendations, although I'm sure they would have been good, but TA reviews gave us the impression of being expensive and catering mainly for tourists. This isn't at all touristy, although the menu has English translations. Highly recommended are the Cordoba specialities... More
