Worth visiting for a drink and a look around as places like this are rare finds. Service is good so the overall restaurant experience is splendid. Somehow the food quality comes second. A small portion of small fried hake was fine. The meatballs apparently famed...by Granny were dreadful. No definable taste and a dry cardboard texture. Then devine lamb chops. A mixed bag of goodies. God wine and an excellent choice of sherry makes a visit essential when in Cordoba.More

Pleasant outdoor seating & good service. Cogollos al ajillo (lettuce w fried garlic was interesting), fried anchovies good & carrilada de cerdo was tender & delicious. Good service despite busy lunch time crowd.

In the middle of Cordoba we found this place and had dinner. The venue is very interesting with lots of old posters from bullfighting at the walls. Unfortunately, the food is far from the standard of the venue. We had fried beef and fried lamb...chops and neigher were worth the price. The lamb chops were more boiled than fried and totally without any spices or herbes. So tasteless and boring. The beef was just little bit better with a taste of garlic. The staff was not too welcoming either. Cannot recommend this place.More

We just finished an enjoyable meal at this restaurant and the food was absolutely amazing! The owner even treated as to 2 small glasses of the local liqueur. Highly recommended if you want to have a true food experience in this amazing city. Of all...the places we have eaten, this tops them all.More

It is good place to drink a beer and some spanish snacks, but it is not a place where to delight your tongue with delicious gourmet food. I recomend or suggets to visit before lunch or before dinner, to drink and to eat something as...aperitive, and to go directly to teh restaurant to continue eating.More

Very old extremely popular with locals crazy busy! Tons of atmosphere and just fun being there. Excellent food. Have a reservation if you want a table. The bar area was packed but that is typical!

We were on holiday in Spain in April. It was raining and cold but Taberna San Miguel was a great place to feel the warmth. Good authentic food, maybe a little rustic and matter of fact but we went in for some good food and...we enjoyed most of it. The deep fried aubergines with honey did not impress but the rest was good as was the ambience. Many locals were eating here.More

A great Córdoban eating experience. Lively restaurant, food first class, staff very friendly and helpful. This is no tourist taberna, this is eating Anthelucian style. Enjoyed raciones of pork, chorizo, mussels and croucettes. Ask for Los Vinos de Montilla - Moriles, there is a vino...there for youMore

I had lunch here and ordered tomatoes with tuna and some bread, with alive oil. This is a simple dish and not easy to ruin. So I honestly cannot say anything for sure, to me it all seemed very ok, also the other people on...the terrace, which is a loverly terrace, seemed to enjoy it a lot.More
