Well, I wanted to give a higher review but what we found is that the food was just ok and every bottle of wine we picked was not available and the waiter kept giving us selections that were more expensive. Pretentious

There´s not much I can add to the obvious: It is an ecxellent mid range place for a good, traditional, meal. Our waiter, Miguel Gomez was fantastic, knowlegeable and very helpful. Just a small tip: the portions are very generous and adequate for sharing. If...you are in a small group (like a couple), don't hesitate to have some half- portions, when it's available.More

Recalled an earlier visit some 5 or 6 years ago, when the food was simply outstanding, and returned just a few weeks ago. If anything, the standard of food and service has improved - it was outstanding, and very good value we thought. My wife's...tuna was cooked to perfection, as were my lamb sweetbread - not everyone's cup of tea, I know, but I adore them! Our son called us earlier in the day to say that he had just proposed to his girlfriend, so it was a fitting celebratory meal (she said yes, by the way..!)More

Just near the cathedral, the location is in an old typical pub. The food is traditional but of very good quality. Gazpacho with raw shrimps very refreshing, Mollejas (sweetbreads) of lamb just what I love, and a few other interesting dishes. The service is friendly,...and they have menus in 3 languages.More

Eating inside is not comfortable. Food was ok, but have had much better in Cordoba. The waiters are very pushy, the meal was very rushed and not an enjoyable experience. Have told our hotel NOT to recommend unless a client wants fast food!More

Excellent restaurant all-around. Pleasant atmosphere, colorful décor, courteous Staff (some English spoken, too), and delicious food! The menu has much to choose from, more than just tapas, with many regional dishes. Reservations recommended. We were lucky enough to get a table when the restaurant opened....We were asked if we had a reservation (we did not). Tables filled up quickly.More

My wife and I are frequent visitors to Cordoba and have tried a number of dining establishments but Casa Pepe De La Juderia is certainly one of the more interesting and rewarding ones. It's located, as the name suggests, in the Jewish Quarter and therefore...in one of the most interesting parts of the city. We've dined here twice and both times in the patio and it's worth calling and reserving if you want to guarantee a table. Okay, what's different? Well, the establishment has some unique dishes that pay homage to the Sephardic heritage of the region and they are well worth trying. The standard of the cooking is excellent but I particularly like the fish dishes tataki style. Puddings are top notch which is not always the case in Spain. I should add that they have a fine wine list too including some top quality sherry. Service is friendly and excellent throughout and I've always left feeling happy with the entire experience. Highly recommended.More

Staying in a Hotel near the Mezzquita, I had searched around during the day but failed to find a nice restaurant that didn’t just offer Tapas. I asked the receptionist and she said this was one of her favourite places. Beautiful courtyard and dining rooms,...and whilst almost everywhere else is currently empty due to Covid-19, this place was very busy- almost full- and this was a Monday! (Almost entirely Spanish guests too) I had the Mazzamora soup- first time I’ve ever tried it, and an anchovy on toast- absolutely delicious! The pluma ibérica accompanied by a lovely Rioja, and a nice desert too. Service was excellent, and I was made to feel very welcome- a plate “iced” with my hometown-Bristol- was a lovely touch. I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice evening out and worth “poshing up” for !More

We loved the atmosphere and the hostess was very friendly. Our waiter was not attentive and the service certainly was not that of a Michelin restaurant. Maybe we were unlucky. Food was pretty good but I wouldn't say excellent.More

Deldicque, first of all thank you for taking the time to appreciate us. We feel that as the waiter tells us he was not kind to you, we do not understand what could have happened, at Casa Pepe we try to offer a quality service...More

The staff was very attentive at all times and they tried their best to make us feel comfortable. The recommendations by the waiter were fantastic and we loved all the food. The price we paid at the end was just right for what we had....We had "ensalada de salmon", "salmonetes", "arroz de chocos con salsa verde" y "sanjacobo". Everything was delicious.More
