The excellent Steak came with Ratatouille and potatoe gratin - as our main course. Very tasty , just lovely. The offered white wine of Rheingau was dry tasting. The dessert of Mango-Joqhurt combined with cherie-chocolade icecreme left no wishes.

Kempinski's Restaurant Intermezzo is more or less the Heart of the Taschenbergpalais in Dresden. It has style, it has grandeur and is haute cuisine and fine dining in a royal ambiance. The menu for 140.- EUR was good quality, although unspectacular. You should bring time and not be too hungry. The accompanying wines were well chosen. The room is somewhat dim and reminds one too much of a hotel-restaurant - which it truly is.
