A no-nonsense meal with a few beers were our target, which we achieved here. Good to reach by tram 11.

This brewery pub was extremely busy on a Thursday night. We had some difficulty getting a table but once settled were well looked after. The beer was good and we had a good value meal of duck with red cabbage. It is conveniently situated on...More

The best choice for good German food. We went there on Sunday and it was great spent 2 hours. The food is very good, portions big, the life music. It's not in the city centre but by car can get there in minutes. Must go...More

We went for drinks and dinner on a Friday night with a group of friends from work. It was a little on the nippy side to be outdoors in the biergarten, so we went inside to the lovely wood paneled restaurant. The 5 liter beer...More

I met with a colleague for a quick lunch. This place was recommended by a an driver. We were sitting outside during a nice summer day with a view towards the river Elve valley. The service was swift and friendly. We ordered some schnitzel and...More

On a beautiful Sunday we took Tram 11 to Waldschlösschen and walked across the street to the restaurant and beer garden. The beers were good, cold, and reasonably priced at 3.30 Euros for a half liter. The outdoor setting is beautiful, overlooking the Elbe. But...More

It's is a large and beautiful garden, with a view to the Elbe. The food was less than mediocre. I had ordered a Schweinshaxe (pork leg a staple in Bavaria, where I come from). If you eat outside you have to get your own food...More

... and it's always soooooo good. The Schweinshaxe (roasted ham hock) is the best I have ever tried in Germany ... and I've tried many. Their own beer is also excellent. Try it.

Loved the location. Was there on a Sunday had lunch in the Terrace. I wanted to Have Goulash & the hand rolled noodles (Spätzle). It was perfect. Meat super tender. Beers were excellent, I had the light & the "fruity note" one. The lower level...More

Description
In the "Brauhaus am Waldschlösschen", anno 1836, the history of beer brewing is still alive. In Germany's oldest joint-stock brewery, which is still brewing, the brewery experience as well as the impressive beer tapping plant are delighting our guests. The brewery "Brauhaus am Waldschlösschen" is a traditional restaurant with a large beer garden and alternating live music for the whole family. Our diploma master brewer Holger Stark guarantees the highest quality. Brewed and served are Waldschlösschen Original Hell, Waldschlösschen Zwickelbier unfiltered, Waldschlösschen Dunkel und Waldschlösschen Hefeweizen Hell. During the year we are offering other seasonal beers and special beers for major events. We offer interesting and entertaining brewery tours with appointment daily. Our guests will learn the traditional art of brewing beer and will taste the freshly tapped Waldschlösschen beer directly from the historic brew kettle. In the brewery we are offering delicious dishes of home cooking, hearty cuisine and light Mediterranean meals. Popular is the "frische Pichelhaxe" out of the oven. Our guests love the Saxon dishes such as the "Dresdner Kartoffelsuppe" (potato soup) or the "Hausgemachte Kohlroulade" (stuffed cabbage roulade with minced meat). Every Sunday we got a MASSBIER DAY with Live-Music at Brauhaus and a Maß (1-litre stein) of home-brewed Waldschlösschen beer at a sensational price of only €5.10. Monthly events round off the Brauhaus calendar.
