We went because it is rated #1 on TripAdvisor and the sidewalk tables looked really nice and much classier than any others. We are very glad we did. My wife had grilled liver (YUK) with onions and mashed potatoes. Even though they did not have it on the menu they made me a schnitzel which came with perfect roast potataoes.... More

Don't be scared of Tripadvisor info. We left this Restaraunt until our last night for a special occasion. We should have gone the first night and we would have gone back several times. This is one of the best restaraunts we have gone to on our 5 week trip through Spain, France and Germany. Eat inside this is a special... More

Had dinner with a colleague during a recent work visit. Started with the potato and leek soup which was fantastic. The food arrived promptly. And compared with the UK the bill came out a lot lower for the quality of food and service. Highly recommend it. We were very lucky that we found a table without reservation.

The service was excellent ,fast, and helpful. The French soup was ok, but the local lamb was excellent, the best i had in a long time. Great atmosphere. The menus were also available in English. Would definitely recommend.

The dining room is tastefully decorated. Our waiter spoke very good English and was quite attentive, particularly for European standards. As this is Spargel season, they offered it in... More

Cosy traditional restaurant, you'll get pleased by service and tasty traditional German food, served in satisfactory quantity. Book a day in advance if you wanna ensure you'll get accepted.
