We love this restaurant. We have been there 2 following nights. It is cozy, tasty and simple. They cook simple food but with excellent taste. Restaurant is cozy with a good stuff. Extremely friendly waitresses. If you in Essen, don't miss it. The stake is fantastic. Good selection of Italian wines.

All of us had beef of different kinds, all good. Also went well with the house beer. I advise to visit the place.

It is the first time to say in Dusseldorf and the hotel offered there is good restaurant closed to my stay. On Sunday evening normal restaurant is closed on Sunday in Germany but this restaurant was opened and there are many visitors. So taste us quite excellent.

We were there for a nice evening and it was. The waiters are attentive, although they forgot my beverage, and are able to explain the business concept (Pfeferkorn is a /small/ chain restaurant). The steaks of our group were ordered to different grades of doneness, according the gusto of each guy. Receiving the meals we experienced that although differently ordered... More

This place specializes in steaks and does them very well. Staff are friendly and have good humour. Often busy - booking essential.

Great Service, great food, unbelievable experience. The steaks range from USA, Argentina, Ireland and Germany - I was part of a party that tried them all and none of them disappointed. The steaks were generous, cooked to perfection and seasoned brilliantly. This is in my top 5 steaks in the world - perfect, I'm already looking forward to my next... More

A great find - a steak restaurant that knows how to cut and serve excellent steaks. The service is provincial which adds to the charm of the dark decor. The food is delicious, and the steaks sublime. Portion sizes are generous (but not American!).
