My husband and I ate here on a Friday night. Walked in around 6:30 to snag one of the last high tops available - great view of the beer filling station. The lace quickly got slammed. Our server was incredibly jovial and spoke very good English and showed good humor with our very poor German. We had 5 cups of... More

There's a constant flow of kolsh beers and service is excellent - it does get busy so be prepared to share a table

A nice place for some hearty food and original Kölsch beer. When we arrived the place was packed but the waiters offered a beer and shuffled done things around to accommodate us at a table within 5 minutes which was great! Food was very nice, they even had some veggie options on the menu. Service was good and friendly!

Great beer, amazing food, cheap prices. For under €20 you can eat and drink loads. Plus the staff are great.

Compared to the famous breweries in the old town, this one is smaller, with a lovely interiour, not really frequented by tourists, offers good beer and tasty local food and thus a lot more symathic than the breweries mentioned above.

The pace was close to our hotel, nice atmosphere and good beer and nash. The sausages and the mash potatoes were extremely tasty. Excellent Kolsh

Perfect place to eat traditional food and to have the topical cologne beer. Staff is very nice as well. Best to book a table as it is full of locals. Had the heaven and earth: black sausage with apple sauce and potato pure. Totally recommended.

Great Koelsch and typical hearty delicious German food to be found here. The beer is tasty and there is only one option: Koelsch. But that's all you need. They'll keep serving you until you put your coaster on top of your glass.

We popped in here after a long trek around Düsseldorf and we're heading back to our hotel in Cologne. We were worn out and needed somewhere 'easy' to stop for a few glasses of kolsch and some nice German food. We had the pork knuckle and the beef rib. Really good value for money as the quality was very high... More
