Visited for a quick coffee break. Good coffee, slow service, expensive prices. The desserts where tasty and fresh.

Went for a tea-time snack during a walk in the city. Great quality of tea, even better cakes and pie. I can recommend the first floor for its special ambiance. unfortunately the lady taking care of the service lacked some frienly appearance and counted the additin into her advantage ( probably a self-service of her tip I presume)
At Mohren you can experience traditional local coffee culture. And a tasty piece of cake. It is a must on a sunny day when you can sit outside on the "Hof", a very nice spot in the middle of downtown Aachen
On our way to Cathedral we decided to have a cup of coffee and found Cafe zum Mohren to be among the top recommended places in Aachen according to Foursquare. But when we entered Cafe, no one greeted us, so we proceeded to the second floor as we figured out that the first one was only for take away orders.... More
Not sure I have ever had ice cream cake before but it is very nice. They had several to choose from. The coffee was very nice too. A few too many tables for the small place but I would have the cake again.
I ate an Ice Cake there , Super delicious and cold , Real Ice cake not a cake with Ice on top , Service was fast and no hidden extra prices , only downside : too crowded
