We had the three course dinner and were truly amazed to find such well prepared and fresh food here. Hands down the best you can get in Wismar! The interiors seem a little out of place though but that won't affect our 5-star rating ;)

Hi guys, I am more often for business in Wismar and had the chance to check various places across the City. Actually I walked into Frische Grube by accident on my first trip. Christian had my favorite on the menue Cordon Blue. It was great....The kitchen is fresh and defines standards on a new way. You will get the best fish and cooked meet in the City. Recommendable really fresh made Juice and wines from a german winemaker and a great champaign for Special occasions. Each dish is made directly for you and gets hot to the table. Waiters are local guys if you have questions those can not answer ask for the Chef. The smoked fish dishes are the best warm served (instead of hot). The Prices are fair to what you get. Actually astonishing sheap if I copare it to Berlin, Hamburg and New York. However, who is not going through restaurants in the world may not recognise what this kitchen gots to offer in a small City like Wismar. Who likes good real slow Food... that is your adress. Go and just enjoy the taste..More
