I can't really give this a great review. It has an excellent location and the ambience is also good but it's lacking many aspects which make a pub an Irish pub. I'm not too happy with the choice of drinks. Side food is also not excellent or even fun as far as I'm concerned. Fair review does call for a... More

Irish Bar in Braunschweig's city center. When I used to go there they had karaoke nights, good rock music or irish live music and traditional irish beer.

My first experience of this establishment was a positive one. Hamburger with sides, simple food but tasty and good value - washed down by a fine Guinness. Friendly relaxing atmosphere and with the opportunity to tune into a full array of sports in English provides a nice sea change after battling all week with nicht sehr gut Deutsch.

The Wild Geese is a great Irish pub. There's traditional Irish music, they speak English & German, the food is good and so is the beer - although I wish they had Smithwicks. They have different things going on during the week, i.e., quiz night, karaoke, etc. Good place to go, relax, down a few and have a good time.

Thank Kim M
