Taste several tap beers from Germanys oldest brewery and enjoy typical Bavarian dishes. In case you want something else, no sweat, it´s there. Watch out, the place is full practically every night. Still, service is very good and you are shown at your table the board of the day´s specials. Very recommendable feature. Place is a bit noisy, though.

Elegant rustikales Restaurant in dem das Tatar seine Fans hat. Für Bierliebhaber ein must. Typical German Restaurant and even Burgers are served! Enjoy! Roasted chicken is my favorit. Vegetarians should be not hungry😊

If you want German food then this is the place, also for the local specialties. Money well spent and one does not leave hungry from that place. Well situated across from our hotel, but not smack in the middle of town.

We had a variety of dishes. We were all more than happy with our particular choice. I can highly recommend the 'Haxe' (you should preorder early enough) and the 'Wiener Schnitzel' both accompanied by a 'Helles' (particular beer). Never talk directly to the bar tender 😉

So up front, let's be honest, Wiesbaden is a unique town with a limited number of Bavarian-Austrian-style restaurants (less than 10). This one is in the style of a Bavarian beer-hall and situated in the north part of town. Parking isn't a guaranteed thing and I'd suggest you park over by the casino and walk (7 min) to the front... This place is always busy! Good, simple food prepared well. Try the pretzels and cheese for an appetizer. Pork schnitzel is excellent as well as the pork knuckles. Call in advance to reserve seating as well as the pork knuckles (they only make a few each night). Menu is in English as well as German; the servers speak both languages.

We met some friends here for dinner and had a very nice German meal. It may not be as homey as other beer garden restaurants, but I thought the food was very good. I had the goulasch and as others have pointed out, it was very tasty, not too heavy. My wife is not a huge fan of German cuisine... More
