This restaurant offers good quality German dishes. Highly recommended but you should book a table in advance.

This is a small, cozy, traditional German restaurant with good food. It has an overspill area (their winter garden) that has tented area linked to the main restaurant. It's a little drafty in the winter garden, but made comfortable with heaters and ample fleece blankets. There is a large choice of traditional German dishes offering different cuts of meat (lots... The small salad was very good and tasty with a sweet berry vingerette dressing, I ordered the fried turkey Brest in garlic sauce. Turkey was tough and smothered with gravy sauce with a side of rice, I really did not care much for it.

The restaurant is quirky, comfortable and friendly. The food is very nice, I went for traditional German main with steak, dumplings and red cabbage. large portion and very tasty and we shared a local desert which was like pancakes, fruit and a vanilla sauce.

There I was billy-no-mates on business in Frankfurt, time to eat so into TA I go. When in Rome etc. so chose to look at German cuisine (no oxymorons here) and settled on a restaurant only to find it was closed on a Monday night for a private party. Went back to the Klosterhof which I has passed by earlier... More

It is nice to be able to dine outdoors in November. They have a tented area with heat lamps and blankets. The menu offers traditional German foods, soups, schnitzel, steak, and desserts. A nice beer list, however, a limited wine selection. The restaurant is open on Sunday, a rarity in Germany. I have dined here numerous times, I have never... More

Great vibe here for German food and beer. I was probably the only American here, so I was glad to be meeting with a German colleague (although no issues with speaking English)! My German companion also enjoyed the meal and said it compared favorably to his mother's cooking.

I went on a Thursday for lunch by myself, set up in a cozy corner, I felt super comfortable being here alone. There was only a few other tables occupied this late in the afternoon, around 3pm. Service was perfect, staff were super friendly and helpful, had an English menu available. Ordered the house draught beer- barman was delighted at... More
