If you are interested in falafel, you definitely have to try the ones from Azeitona.
They reached a new level. Super crispy, soft and just delicious at the same time.
Staff is friendly and interested about hearing your opinion about their food.

We really enjoyed the food and the selection of antipasti was fun.
The homemade lemonades are very sour. You should know that. I liked it, but it was much too sour for the children.
Friendly and fast service.
The price-performance ratio was good, hence the four points.

OMG. The flavours were insane. The price was so cheap also. Went there after the bar and it was so satisfying but so healthy and wholesome at the same time. 4 days in Hamburg and I’ll be there everyday.

Quite disappointing. Cheap prices, cheap food. Since when is tuna vegetarian? The menu doesn't reflect the actual offer off dishes. It was once A fair deal, but this time I was a bit shocked. Lots of better places nearby.

Had some very nice food there at a good price. Unfortunately they only take cash, and my friend and I didn’t enough euros to pay, the owner said it was fine and took the money we had (even though we offered to run to an ATM)

Hidden in a little street near the lively Shanzen, Ateitona has it all. Great portions, great authentic taste, and cosy little restaurant. Very good pricing!

We were actually not looking for a place to eat when we were standing in front of Azeitona. A little snack turned into a big meal and we left 100% satisfied and happy. The food was absolutely delicious and very cheap on top. Even as a vegan you have plenty of choices . If you’re around here and into authentic oriental food please stop by ! You don’t regret it

I really love the food here and the staff are super friendly. You get a huge portion of amazing veggies and falafel and it is really good for veggies or vegans. The inside is also decorated really nice and it feels very authentic.

After going to another place for vegan food that had stopped serving, they sent me to here and thank god they did.
Absolutely beautiful food and I loved the intimate/authentic feel to it and the prices were ridiculously good. I then went the following night to Aezitona in Eimsbuttel and again it was lovely :)
Very knowledgeable about what is vegan, it’s just a pity they aren’t one of the recommendations that pop up when searching ‘vegan in Hamburg’ 💔

There are several very good falafel places in town. Azeitona, on tiny Beckstrasse, just off Neuer Pferdemarkt & the Schulterblatt is a favorite due to the flavors they add to a normally simple sandwich. The Falafel Spezial, for a few cents more, upgrades it to a flavor delight. The chosen vegetable salad is spiced amazingly. I don't usually write such flattering reviews, but this place deserves it. U3-Feldstrasse or U/S Sternschanze.

At Azeitona you can get a lot of good food for not a lot of money. We had a nice dinner, unfortunately it made me feel unwell that evening. The atmosphere is OK, despite the people lining up to order take-away (Which I guess is a good sign). Can only pay cash, and make sure you're not in a hurry. Will recommend to vegans and vegatarians

Well this place meets more then eye can tell :-) Very good and unique food, nice decoration, friendly and helpful staff, everything perfect. The only minus is that most times the place is really pact so you have probably to wait more then a bit.

I've been here tonite for the first time even if I lived in HH for a while and I would to say it was a pity to have not discovered this nice place before! Nice people, nice atmosphere and amazing genuine food prepared with care and passion, and you can "taste" it!
Die Dessert war prima!
The german waitress was rude with a fake smile, hopefully today was just not her best day!
I will be back the next time, for sure!
