We were a group of 20+ persons who’d prebooked lunch. Pleasant service and good food for all - and plenty of it - very reasonably priced.More

We had lunch on a Saturday around 1pm. The lady who welcomed us was very kind, beautiful smile and chose a table for us. There were not many customers, around 20. Still she came back at our table after 8 minutes. We ordered hamburger back...fish with salad. Not even 15mn later we got the meal served properly with our drinks and some warm bread. Delicious taste for both salad and fried fish. We did not need to add any more sauce or salt it was tasty as it was cooked. Enough quantity in the dish to fill our stomach and satisfy our gluttony. Price was about 12,50€ for the meal only. I recommend this restaurant if you pass by👍😀More

We had flown from overseas, spent ages in immigration queues, had difficulty navigating public transport without wifi to find a map so we were tired and stressed when we arrived at this restaurant for lunch just because we walked past and the beers looked great...on the tables of the outside diners. Drinks came quickly and first course was delivered in a reasonable timeframe. We were originally looking forward to dessert and placed an order and checked twice that it was being prepared. Eventually we just asked for the bill and left hungry as the interminable wait was too frustrating.More

We ate here twice (inside and outside). We did not have reservations, but they were willing to take us in. Both times, the service was great and the food excellent. Fresh ingredients well cooked. The kitchen is open to the restaurant so watching how it...all got made was fun.Recommended!More

In short: Two grumpy ladies behind the counter (sorry to disturb you!). Two cups of average coffee. Two pretzels that were maybe baked the day before - or maybe the day before that. One bill (€11) that gave us the chock of the day. Do....Not. Go. Here. For. Coffee.More

Because of the good reviews on trip advisor, we walked 1km to have dinner in this place. We arrived there at 21.55pm. We informed the waiter that we would like to eat when she told us that the kitchen was already closed, but if we...wanted we could order some drinks. Of course, we were quite disappointed, but we didn’t even argue - in the end, rules are rules. Eventually, we stayed there and ordered a bottle of still water. At 22.12pm, the couple beside us was served with food... that made us wonder: either the kitchen is too slow to serve, or probably - just probably - these people ordered a couple of minutes before we arrived, which again made us wonder that eventually with only a little good will, they could accommodate our order if they really wanted. We left after paying 6.50euros for a bottle of water, no food, and with the impression that all of this could be easily avoided just by being more customer-centric. Too bad...More

We had a nice time at this restaurant. The wild herb salad with peach and buffalo mozzarella was refreshing and interesting. Venison schnitzel was cooked to perfection and the roast cod was enjoyable. It is modern classic cuisine with a twist. It was a very...lovely dinner.More

The food tasted great but the menu doesn't have too many options. The waiter was very friendly and offered us an english menu. He also spoke english fluently. The dishes are abit pricy but it is definitely worth it. I would gladly come here again.

Our first evening of a three day visit to Hamburg and we decided to consult TA to find a good restaurant close to our hotel (the IBIS). The Fillet of Sole had recd good reviews so we phoned up and managed to get a table...within half an hour. The restaurant is quite traditional with an open kitchen and has a nice feel to it; simply furnished with some good lighting. The menu is quite small and for a while, we thought we may not find a good selection but in the end we made our choices and the quality was very good paired with reasonably priced wine. Service was good and value decent for the quality of food and ambience. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area or staying at the IBIS.More
