I went with 6 friends for our last meal in Bremen. We were sitted under the stairs at a cosy table (bench for three sides and two chairs for the remaining side). Ideally place opposite the bar ! We started with the Schnoor Brau and then we had good value for quality starters and main course ...served with white asparagus... More

This is a very nice little restaurant in the heart of the historic Schnoor district. Consistently good quality food and fast, friendly service. Reasonable prices. The wine selection was a little restricted, but what was available certainly paired well and was quite adequate. That isn't meant to sound snobbish - its just very easy to get spoiled for good food... More

Hands down, the best French onion soup I've ever had. Charming, warm place with attentive, friendly servers. I also recommend the Knipp! Make sure you book. Busy.

We had a fantastic meal. The place is very nicely decorated. The food we ordered was very tasty and they also had their own beer which actually was very good

Tiny little restaurant in a very characteristic area of Bremen. It's necessary to book in advance. The food and the service were excellent although our table was very cold because next to the door. Every time the door opened we were freezing. However, we had a good experience and we would go back if in Bremen again.

we went for a dinner on Monday evening to experience all together : mediocre food, slow service and drunken party next table. This restaurant used to be a 'good value' in the heart of Bremen but doesn't seem to maintain standards anymore. No single change on the menu since beginning of October and the sea food doesn't seem to be... More

They messed up our booking when we could see our name in there booking book saying 16:00 table......! Guess they over booked and we had the fall. The lady dealing with us was rude and made us feel like we was in the wrong.....! terrible service p.s booked this table a week before.

The waitress was effective and her English was more than enough to communicate. The place was warm with a nice, rustic atmosphere so I went for a delicious glühwein (mulled wine) together with my steak with mushrooms. The steak was very soft, practically melting in my mouth. Even though I was not asked to specify - my steak was medium-rare... More

For early lunch only the downstairs area (very small) was open. This is warm, friendly and charming place with service that fits this bill. We had the "Captain's fish plate" and the pork medallions dish, served in a hot pan for lunch. These are large portions and we were unable to finish them after we had the pumpkin soup appetizer... We went here because we were in the Schnoor quarter and it was highly rated. I can only agree with the reviewer from Italy before. There must be places better than this. For the portion the price is insulting. The panfish is served in a metal pan and the metal leaks into the food - maybe without the lemon this... More
